Canadian Gorilla vs. Mother Nature

Following this one! Sounds like a daring plan dude.... nothing for bugs/animals at all?

Thx for stopping in Rob, test patch will not be sprayed with anything other than some deer repellent. I do have some fencing as you can see from pic. But not enough to go around all plants individually.
I planted a Tikal seedling right in the middle of one of the numerous deer trails. I have to admit it keeps me up at night thinking I should have put fencing around her.

well no new pics yet as I haven't been able to get out to the plot for awhile. I wish it was in my back yard. Wouldn't life be grand.
After the transplant into pots on May 25, I was worried because we had some nice warm weather for a few days. 23 C/ 74 F, So I thought they may have dried out because of the high sand content in the soil mix and being in homemade pots. Then some rain off and on for a few days. Then today a hail storm went though our area. Knocked the branches and leaves off the trees on my street. I sure hope they survived the first couple weeks out in the wilderness.:snap out of it:
I will get out there in the next week or so and post some pics.

roll one? Now and then...after I bought my vape pipe I seldom cough and after 5-7 hits of my last homegrown I am put away nicely :)

I usually lose stuff like nice knives, I hope I hang onto the vape pen awhile :woohoo:

gorilla ganja I just noticed you have serious 6 in this go. I was wondering if this is the first run on them or have you run these before. I looked at these one time and was curious about them. I almost purchased them myself. keep us updated please

update time-
It's been 2 week's since I put the plants out in the bush. I was really worried than I would come back to a bunch of dead plants because I had to put most in temporary pots. The pots that I made had no bottoms. They all survived and look quite healthy overall.

mother nature is already in flower.

The plants tripled in size to about 18 inches. But it's all stem, not much for side branches. This is probably from being partially shaded.
It's hard to find really nice all day sun when your hiding them in the forest.

As I have mentioned no bug spray's will be used. One Durban poison paid the price.

Most of the damage is on the bottom leaves. I probably introduced the insects when I mulched with old leaves. The plant seems to be outgrowing the damage.

they are growing very nice bro! they look really healthy as well. i think i may have introduced the insects to my grow as well bc i mulched with old leaves that was around the plot. i think i have got it took care of now though. i upped the dose on the neem and also added karanja oil and upped the insect frass from 1tsp to 2 tsp and the new growth is nice and green with no damage so we shall see. Once they start to flower then insects fuk off then lol but then i will have to change my IPM to the prevention organic fungicides i plan on using till around week 4 or 5 of flower along with the SAR/ISR inducers hoping bud rot wont be a issue this year.
I have noticed that my plants that are in the living soil mix i used has alot fatter stems then the ones that are just in the happy frog/ocean forest. i think that is due to the high silica content in the basalt rock dust. i also give a supplement of slicia with ever watering at 2.5-5ml..i cant wait to see how ur ladys turn out,i will be keeping a close eye on this one. gl bro :dance013:

i have a serious 6 going as well. it started flowering on me when i first set them out. i sent a email to simon and he wrote me back saying that my lat was to low for it and that i should grow kali mist instead in which he sent me a pack of for free to make up for the flowering s6 this early. i think that the S6 has went back into veg mode though bc i dont see any new white hairs on it but i honestly dont know since i have never had this happen to me. simon also said there is a possibility that the S6 will go back into veg since the days are continuing to get longer. i can say that its been a pretty vigorous strain so far though up considering it went into flower. i will be getting the bangi haze from Ace as soon as they drop the fem seeds which should be really soon.

kygiacomo I have the bangi going now out side . I have the f8 on ace site . there regular seeds have a high female rate out of 4 seeds I got 3 females. I am lurking for the fems to come out as well. I think I could only grow kali mist where I live. let us know how they do

Hi flboy,
I will try and update every couple weeks with pic's as I try not to go out to the plot often. I forgot to get pictures of the Bangi this trip, but they are growing just fine and very uniform. The serious 6 should start to flower around the start of august and be ready end of September. The Bangi should be a few weeks later. I hope the Bangi's finish before the freeze comes. Your plant's are looking very nice.

Hi Ky,
You sure are trying to maximize your yield with all the extra stuff you put on. I hope you have your best yr. yet. As you know I am not using anything but some fertilizer and some lime for PH. Although the sandy native soil that I mixed on site is largely made up of silica.
Oh I forgot to ask you Ky, when you started your serious 6 about how many daylight hrs where you getting in your area. Because yours went into flower, it will help to narrow down when they will start to flower for me.
Peace GG

I thought the bush was thick when I went out on May 25. It's really liked the rain as well as my plants.

I also spent about 3 hrs. cutting the bushes back but you can hardly tell. Mother nature is one tough lady.
