Damn this sucks!

Damn this sucks!

Well I made it for 3 days then went about a week and a half and quit again. That lasted for 5 days.Smoked from the 17th to the 21st and quit on Friday the 22nd and that lasted til this morning.Shit.I think I have way too much going on to concentrate properly or something. Not to mention the damn physical addiction of this stuff.
I ran out of bud around the 16th and that sucks. My nurse that comes out and does my IV treatments every week quit Monday.Said she was seeing spiders and thinks she got bit here last week so she terminated my case with the home care service and I would need to make other arrangements to get my treatments done. The folks that supply my meds will be meeting me down off the mountain to do them at some clinic in a couple days.So I will have to drive about 30-35 miles one way every week to meet them for my treatments.Oh well we must do what we must do.I can vouch for the stress factor here folks. You must keep a calm orderly situation in hand to help make your quit work for you.I will quit again. We must keep tryin or we will lose the war. It's hard but it can happen.Later.Good luck.

I know this thread is about quitting tobacco, but I have recently started to bum cigs off of friends. When I don't have any weed I will smoke a cigarrette or two to get a nice buzz going. I know tobacco is very bad for you but when there's no weed to smoke...

I quit the end of last november, didn't slow down or switch brands, just quit. Miss them the most when I have my morning coffee.

smoked a couple yesterday...I'm not going to get down on myself tho, I am staying to my guns!! I've got some bad kidney stones, and have been hopped up on pain meds...At the ER they had to give me a second dose of delodid, because the first one didn't touch the pain. I needed a cig...

unfortunately I was drinking scotch this past weekend and smoked one of my Canadian friend's "Players" cigs. Godawful tasting thing even after several drinks.

I was at a pot party two weekends ago *camp out* and smoked a couple of camels... not so good at first, but one can't mess around with the tobacco.

Will have to do 3 miles around the track tonight to purge myself.

Stay strong everyone!

Remember this. The evil man is laughing at you... :pointlaug

He wants you hooked on tobacco and alcohol for life. He says that pot is bad... :fsu:

Peter Jenning was ashamed to admit he has weakened during 911 and resumed smoking cigarettes which he had quit many years before. :badday:

We are only human you know and we are frail. Easily addicted are we and each day is a struggle to make good decisions. :dueling:

Just remember your children and loved ones and listen to me.

STOP USING TOBACCO!!! Please remember than We beg you. Who are we?

We are you. We are all in this together. We are one and we love you too.

You can live without tobacco today. Make certain you have some weed though because it prevents cancer. Ex smokers need to use cannabis preventivly as the safe alternative. BOG

what an excellent suggestion! 35 days tobacco free here. the lozenges and white widow are working great.

i get insane impulses. i want to pick up half-burnt cigaretts off the ground and smoke them. it's like my whole brain siezes up and sends one message, "SMOKE, SMOKE NOW," but it goes away after a few seconds.

i'm to the point now where i catch my self thinking it would be ok if i had one, and i realize it's my addict brain trying to trick me. suck a lozenge, have a bowl, go do something.

i'm surprised and worried by how easy it's been so far, too easy. i think i'm in for a lifetime fight.

edit: nice freakin' stash box ya got there BOG, yow.

Ive stopped rollin' with tobacco for about 2 weeks now i think? Not really sure, no need to drive myself crazy with counting the days.
I had quit smoking for years, after girlfriend (now ex) said she'd never wanna have kids with me if i kept smoking cigerattes. I quit for quite a few months without problem.
And the way i did it was quite simply, i was at work.. having a smoke break.
Was thinking ''bout what gf said about halfway cig and i just put it out and went to work.
Everytime i felt the urge to smoke.. i just thought about that moment... that I put out a half cig and that was that. Didnt drive myself crazy with it in a way...
After awhile i started smoking maryjane due to trouble with migraine.
but put tobacco in my joints, european habbit...
and i must say a joint does burn better with even a little tobacco in it.
No matter how well the herb's been dried.. hehe
ofcourse due to this lil euro habbit, i kept a nasty addiction going...
If a friend now passes me a joint.. I refuse... I cant stand the flavor or smell of tobacco anymore!
Even worse, the effects it gives! I wouldnt even be amazed if im allergic to it!
Always carrying small pipe with me or at home ol' billy bong (well more like new, but still) :p
Wanna lose the smoking habbit all together..
Find i get way more enjoyable highs with way less, and i find myself smoking at less times.
Always had a joint in the ashtray or my mouth before... now... few hits every couple of hours.
Must say IC and this thread inspired me in a way.
So thank you all! :)

Free yourself today if you havent already!

it can be done...

it can be done...

.. i gave up baccy 8 months ago.. i used to smoke roll ups but replaced them with pure single skin joints.. i did fall a couple of times but threw the baccy away after one cig..
i also gave up booze as well.. as one goes with the other for me..
I totally agree about this weed being a blight on society..
One thing people may find is that their so called friends will try to get them smoking again..to drag you back down to their level.. these people are not really your friend imo.. and should be avoided..
I smoked for 28 years... if i did it anyone can..
Big up to BOG for initiating this thread.. and congratulations to all those that have set themselves free .. :joint:
