I've got six plants running in my c13 wannabe and it's not scrog but its working out ok. There is no more room left but that fine with me. 1 Northern Light 2 sag mystery mix 1 aurora indica that is a little behind the rest and 2 bagseed plants that I've kept running since my first attempt growing.

A question about scrogging in a C13, which I plan to do with my current grow (4 White Rhinos, 1 Jock Horror, 5 weeks into veg):

Is it best to wait 'til the plant has shown its sex before introducing the screen? I think I've seen some people scrog during the vegetative phase.

IMO the screen should be placed in your cab at the same time your plants go in. The idea behind scroging is to fill your screen as the plant vegs routing your nodes through the holes on your screen.

The only way I would ever consider scrog'in is if the sex was all female for sure. I believe it would be one royal pain in the ass sexing and then removing the males when they are in the screen. Get a real good magnifying glass from radio shack 5x 10x 15x and use all of them at once and you should be able to sex them real young. I was able to sex most of my plants when they were in solo cups but some took slightly longer and had only made their way into 6 inch pots. That saves alot of time and you don't waste much supplies on the males.

Thanks for your help. I've got a 100x magnifying glass at home (not purchased in Radio Shack as I live on the other side of the world) which I'll use to try to sex them.

That one wild looking setup you got there puta. I think I might try sog or scrog'in on my next go around with the clones I just cut. Well actually I have another batch in the veg cab that will be ready to go after this set so I guess my next next go around or something like that lol. I'm trying to keep a continuous harvest going but at some point I have to add so more higher quality strains in the mix up.

Trichs are cloudy and so Wednesday AM I will kill the lights for a total of 60 hours before I cut and hang Friday night.

Here is my girls almost half way done exept for my slow ass aurora indica plant that was not wanting to flower for some reason.

Not bad looking I think. I just can't wait until they start to fatten up. Its looking like the mystery mix (middle front) I didn't top is gonna be one hell of a beauty. Nothing but one big fat cola with a mini handle of the bottom. I call her the Budsicle.

I would like to add my version of the C-13. Very simple setup, based off of Maliboo's C-13 from OG. I am using a 400 watt metal halide for veg and 400 watt hps for flowering. The fan is a vortex inline fan connected to a homemade carbon filter. Also the fan is hanging on small bungee cords which help reduce alot of vibration and noise. I am still uploading pictures of the plants, so they will be posted later.

Nice cab voodoo. How many cfm is that vortex pulling through your cab??? WHat size holes did you cut in the bottom??? Looks good can't wait to see some plant pics.

I need some advice from all you c13ers....My cab temp are running high (damn cali temps) with 2 8x8 louvers. I open the door a lil bit and the temp drops 4 deg. My question is shoud I ad more louvers? How much is to much for vent? should I put the vent at the bottom or in the middle? any help would be appreciated...

I'm running a 6in Fantech 392 cfm.

I bought an untrasonic humidifier from walmart for $.. Hmm, I don't remember how much, but it helps keep the temps down and the Humidity up.

I just set it in there amongst the plants and let it run 24/7. I turn it down after lights off and run it full power during lights on. At full power it's good for about 5-6 degrees. Hope it helps. Good luck CF.

I put the vents at the bottom. Hot air rises, therefore the coolest air will be at the bottom. Just what Ive read and it makes sense to me, hope that helps.
