Butte County

One of my guys was followed by a CHP to a grow in Yuba County. He stalled, then thought that the cop had lost interest and gone by. Not so lucky. Sheriff called, lots of questions, but they didn't go onto the property. Instead, they promised a helicopter would check it out. Not a happy day for grower. Yuba County might have less enforcement, but they are not asleep.

He should have gave the sherriff charnel ' s number and told him to talk to his lawyer.

I would have pulled over and stopped and asked the officer why he was following me

what the fuck?? since when is CHP involved in marijuana enforcement thats BULLSHIT!

what area was this in, and what made the CHP so sure they were growers? did he have a pallet of fox farms in his pickup bed or something like that?

fire burning in south east oroville towards bangor area just now, looks like off swedes flat and honcut creek....smokey as fuck looks like a pretty big blaze.

I agree, CHP chasing gardens?

It was in Dobbins. He followed for a bit and my guy pulled off into a business for a minute. He disappeared until my guy was at the gate. He could have pulled him over at any point along the way, but instead he was sneaky enough to find the destination. He approached my guy about an unrelated issue, but it was obviously about the garden.

And you can listen to the firefighters on thenet411.net The helicopters are flying over my house. There are fairly large embers falling here so I'm hanging around until it looks smaller.

Lmfao @ Bsane remark.

Yeah property values in yuba are supposedly down 40% and sales are down 40% too.

The farmers/cattleman wanted that to happen. Now they can buy it up cheap. Farmers have had to fallow 25% of their land, if they just buy up new land they can fallow that and keep producing on the land they already had.

Soper wheeler wanted this as well. I hear they are transitioning their old logging lands into subdivisions of parcels and will be selling them off and looking for new lands to go. They already are getting ready to subdivide and sell the 650 acre parcel they have right behind my place.

Butte county is sending out abatement hearing notices

is this for those who requested hearings, or for new cases or re-checks?

so that means they are finally trying to get around to the hearings damn near 1-2 months later than some were requested…and part of their new plan to "have 10-20 hearings a day"

I'm not sure. I just got a message from charnel saying they were sending out hearing dates and this aligns with the copter photographing my buddies place. Tess disappeared but he had been waiting since may.

holy shit $25 a sq ft is way above and beyond any permits and fees I've ever heard…$25,000 permit fee just to operate a 20x50 greenhouse is ridiculous.

well shit, i guess now we put zekes theory to the test lol…

one of my homies has charnel retained and is waiting on a hearing date for 30k in fines so il let him know to look out for it.

CHP get Fed funding in order to police Drug Transportation Corridors - they've interpreted that as the foothills during the season. Happened to our team a couple time last season on the 162 by both the CHP and Sheriff. When they pulled us over it was the typical 'what are doing?' 'are you coming from a farm?' 'can i search your car?' Fourth Amendment violation type stuff which our team is well versed on.

Its now the time of season to tighten up the belts, clean the cars and dress properly - or at least not in trim clothes. Dashcams are now on everything we drive. Stay safe.

Yes, dash cams are important! If they ask you to step out of the vehicle, adjust your dash cam accordingly and specifically tell them you wish to stay in view of the camera. That IS your right to videotape them while they are "protecting and serving" as an officer

The idea that legalization is coming, and with only about a week left before the bill needs to be complete, it is empty, is maddening. Assembly Bill 266 was evidently gutted and will be rewritten to include the guvs wording. I have read some of the wording in the bills that are being worked on and they are not friendly to small growers. Can a guy with no electricity can keep a plant under surveillance from seed to sale?

I cruise around looking for information, but the easiest for me is to start at http://www.mapinc.org/ Is there a single source of the latest news?

If you have Facebook- Deborah Tharp, Sungrown in Shasta, Mickey Martin, Eric Salerno, Rick Fenton, Yuba patients coalition, some good peeps to follow lots of information.

i wonder why butte county is HIDING all measure A related checks now….WHAT DO THEY GOT TO HIDE!!

even the bsane website encouraged its loony bin members to check out the progress on public logs and to see if their neighbors were checked, so even they can't see the shit.

logs are empty, but i know for sure that 2 citations were issued yesterday in east oroville off old olive highway where the 2 BHO busts were earlier this year. no contact with property owners, just a chopper last week for visual inspection of outdoor plants, and a letter of abatement posted on the gates.
