Excerpt taken from a Huffington Post article this A.M. -

"California has the oldest and largest legal marijuana market in the country, bringing in $1.3 billion a year. It's also the least regulated, allowing for local governments to enforce their own rules at their whims..."

And there you have it. Local governments enforcing their own rules...Whims included...

Huffington Post article featuring our latest up and coming political rising star, Lt Gov Newsom who btw, knows rec mj just could be his ticket to the governors mansion, if he plays his cards right...

Local gubmits ain't gonna let folks run commercial grow ops without regulation period. Legalization will bring more regulations not less. Code enforcement nazi's still gonna be around harassing property owners like they been doing for a good long time. Shit, some places won't let you raise pigs on your property. This ain't new. Don't like being regulated, inspected? Remain/go underground.

Just stand up for your rights and get a good attorney or two.

If you're educated about the local regulations, prop 215, SB420 and what you can get away with in California, you can find your loophole.

I love MMJ and I'm not looking forward to corporate America getting in on it.

crooked officials, you don't say

coincidentally, fresno county which also banned outdoor growing, had this happen today. sounds like weed was involved.
---------
"FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Fresno Police Department's second in command has been arrested in a federal drug conspiracy investigation. Deputy Chief Keith Foster, 51, is accused of distributing and possessing drugs.

Deputy Chief Keith Foster is accused of distributing and possessing oxycodone, marijuana, and heroin. He was arrested on Thursday after a year long investigation by the FBI and ATF. "

---------

Will the general public ever wake up to the fact that police are the enemy? They only investigated this guy for a year and found all this shit imagine what some cops get away with throughout the entirety of their career
The 2nd in command is blowing up the tower district with drugs and at the same time busting people for drugs. This Shit makes me so fuck in sick.

Hey Prop...I think this qualifies as a possible grading violation...Geeez, all that's missing is a helo pad for LEO...lol

The caption under the photo reads -
"Shasta County Department of Resource Management This undated aerial photo shows marijuana cultivation and grading activity on an Ono property owned by Christopher Cordes of Pensacola, Florida. Cordes is facing $300,000 in fines from water quality regulators for runoff allegedly caused by illegal grading work...."

luckily the grass is growing fast over my pads lol….we did a bunch of erosion control and even installed drain tile on each pad. built a few berms to make sure the runoff goes into the trees instead of anywhere near anything resembling a creek. still pretty scary stuff…the kids who were busted earlier in the month are facing grading violations as well, and they are claiming the EPA charges 10k a day to assess runoff pollution.

YUBA county just filed an ordinance to fight their ban. they are a little different than butte because in yuba, the BOS passed their ordinance under urgency with no vote, not even input from the local sheriff. unlike in butte where measure A won by vote so theres barely anything to do legally.

Gotta just save up money and be politically active the next round and try to overthrow measure B but realistically rec laws will be on file by then and butte and other counties will just roll their ban in to restricting who can do rec

...I agree... Its a shame that people in Butte county cant get along or they are too lame into politics and "paying off the man" rather than to fix the breaks of social law and equality.. Hey, I get to grow as much as the guy with 40 acres and I will pull a 50lb crop this year... cool.. anyway... 36.6k people voted for measure A, thats about 38% of the registered voters in Butte.. 60% of the votes were for a NO on measure B, 65% of the votes were for a YES on measure A (39k or so). You have to count the "n/a" votes, the "no" votes, and the "yes" votes.. I voted YES on measure A because I can now grow 50lbs a year, legally... Measure B gave me 6 plants and gave other assholes who own a goddamn farm the right to grow 99, fuck them... Ill see them at Canna and ram 10x varieties @ 22%+.. flavors` that will makes your mother cry in happiness..

All is fair.

haha first post back and you spew out the same backwards rhetoric that got you banned in the first place. didn't occur you that with the rash of local county bans and growing restrictions, lots of people (including ones who pull the strings at this website) are very against your close-minded stance.

get out of this thread, this is for sharing information on how to beat measure A and other unconstitutional bans on cultivation. this is NOT the place for you to rep your mediocre strains and continue to rant about how you benefit from measure A while hundreds if not thousands of growers are facing hard times and threats from law enforcement over this. YOU ARE NOT A FRIEND TO THIS INDUSTRY OR THIS FORUM.

Looks like there's some good news. The court case got put off for two weeks and it might be heading for injunction!! That means that last years oridinance will be the law and the "grow in the box" ordinance will be dead. Stay tuned. P.S. THIS IS NO APRIL FOOLS JOKE!! I would never joke about people's livilhood and medicine. Psi haze GO AWAY!!!!!

measure A, measure B
Don't drag me into your post Psi.. Doesn't seem like you're too popular around here. Find somewhere else to post brah-

Measure A,B,C...

F all that ish.. All we need is Prop 215. And I in no way meant anything like what Psi was saying.

Wow hope to god that's true!!

Good bye psihaze, you are officially blacklisted from the large group of dispensarys/growers/breeders that I associate with. Your name will never carry any weight except the negative mindset you decided to take with your fellow growers.

Gonna be hillarious to see you rep any seed venture or future brands I will be on you like a hawk to expose your anti grower mentality. What kind of idiotic breeder would support a measure that limits your own genetix research to a measly 220sq ft, just because you are so patheticly jealous of farmers who grow more than you and own acreage. You are absolutely the only grower on this site who supports measure A. Have fun with your bcbuddepot seed stock hahahaha that's a whole other story!!

I agree, I mean, why should the farmer next door to me be able to grow 500 almond trees?? I can only fit 5 on my property!!

That's how you sound, like a little child.

Why should the farmer next to me be allowed to drain our shared aquifer for him/her to get wealthy?

Big Ag. uses 80% of water in California. Crying about your neighbors amount of used water is like crying about the ants eating your chicken after a fox killed it.

It's wildly insignificant... Unless you're just grasping for any reason to complain.
