Also he seems to have zero worry about the case. I told him the case looks airtight to me and why would they reduce it to a misdemeaner like his lawyer says they will. I said the lawyer sounds to me to be a bullshitter to say something like that.

If they can come into my house, they didn't yesterday. Also, I don't think an unconvicted person gives them the right to search any house they are in, but even if they did (against my demand that they don't enter) they would find nothing that is against any law. The house never had anything incriminating in it. Since he cannot leave the house they would have no right to bust down the outbuilding door on my property and search that. But we'll see

True. I can say with 99.9% certainty that he didn't flip, but he could have. He's related to my wife, can't say more on that, but we're pretty sure he didn't turn. But still he seems to not be worried, and has had a plane ticket to travel to another state at the end of the month. I told him that trip is off, but he still talks like it will happen. If it was me and I had two pending felony charges I'd be pretty damn worried.

They did ask where he got it in the presence of my wife down at the police station and he refused to answer any of their questions. Pissing off the lady cop so severely that another cop had to tell her to calm down.

I guess thats why the lawyer calls it entrapment. He seemed to know standard practice with the cops in this area. But I don't know. The informant might be calling everyone he knows in town fishing for anyone that can get him weed. But i don't know.

how in the hell can a case look airtight to you? are you a lawyer b/c obviously you didnt know the guy he sold to was a snitch and i doubt you know what was said during those transactions, the cops probably do.

you look past the obvious and say the lawyer is a bullshitter but remember that this all occured from a dui your bro-in-law had. it seems to me that he is bullshitting you for free room and board until he can hop that plane to where ever.
