I have the same cut as flip flops. So this is Bubba Kush? It sure is a pretty plant but I still have my doubts about it being authentic..... Here are some updated pics....probably at least another week before she comes down.

hey NorCal, imho it has much to good of a calyx/leaf ratio to be bubba, and the leaves aren't thick/meaty enough.

Not having grown OGK i can't say for sure, but it does look more like OG than Bubba in your pics.. That or a bubba cross of some sort..

The taste/smell/high should tell you if it's bubba or not.

thanks guys for chimin in ...the funny thing is from the way most ppl are descibing the smell of the OGK as a lemony pledgey type smell with a lil pine added fits the descrption on what this smells like. But aren't both the bubba and OG cuts short squat gals with a lil more spaced out budsites than most plants? I have never smoked bubba before but have smoked OGK enough times to know that it is def not OGK. Is it a possibility it could be the bubba kush mint pheno? Is there one? I appreciate any more input thanks.

Nice sHOTS NorCal Cript....To be honest, that doesnt look like Bubba at all....At least not the one that I am runnin and Not the green version either....There is a Mint Pheno as well so i heard.....I know Environmental differences play a huge role on how your buds look but if She's smellin like Lemoney Pine, its definately not Bubba....Prolly OGK or an OGK S1 would be my guess.....Where did you guys obtain the cut.?????????And by the way, Both the Abusive OGK cut and SFV OGK cut Both stretch during flowering and are not Squat at all...They Definately look Sativa Dominent....The Purple Version of the Bubba also has a little stretch to her While tHE GREEN Bubba is more Squat....Dont know nothin about the Mint Pheno but i have heard of it...Hope She turns out to be a keeper..~ograskal

Thanks for the kind words Orgraskal . I believe it was acquired by someone and then sent off to the mid-west to a third party who shall remain nameless then sent to flipflops and I. I think if any Kush its an s1 of either OGK or BubbaK. I know that the enviornment can play a major role in the way it looks but usually even if the same two cut looks different i usually can see certain similarities in the way the cuts look to some degree.

yes not the cut you are runnin ograskal, where did you get your cut btw? yes could be mint, didnt think so when i sent it out a year ago, i thought i was sending purple bubba out (what i thought to be the nicest one, they all really score a 9 w/ me, but i sent out 2 different), my thoughts are that it is not ogk, why im arguing, not sure. although id be willing to bend only after smoking something dried (and also if I come to find out that its not the cut i sent, but something else) - but hey if you want to call it that, thats your prerogative. hope everyone has good runs with her. oh and i gave these cuts out for free, so i hope everyone is doing the same, but thats just my hope, i know no one has to.

purple - day 21 looks to be further along but all i have is the filename with "21" in it to remember.


here is the only og s1 i ever had and i never sent it anywhere farkin' awesome plant btw. 6.5 oz's of super dank where bubba yielded 1-2 right next to her. - day 63




and after growing those, personal favorite is right here, gets a 9.1? Day 52.

I am not callin it anything but fake bubba kush for nowbecause thats my perogative. With that said , sbaegis, I am sure you sent what you sent. The funny thing is the only person that knows what he sent flip flops and I.... is the only dood that hasn't posted on this thread. I just wanna know what the hell it is. I didn't want to post on some thread i put up that this is bubba K the original one when it isn't. Sbaegis and the anonymous person that got this
cut out to the community congrats and props for your kindness. I am not questioning yours or this other doods integrity. It was a free gift(like they should be) and hell if this cut turns out great, right on... but i still wanna know what this cut is. Thanks

Cool Norcal Crypt, spread the love :)

I'll be growing this cut out now just to find out what this is all about. I put all bubbas on hold while i put all my attention towards the new favorite, but for this situation I'll run my mom. For now, my trust in the guy you guys got your cuts from has not waivered, because I haven't seen/smelled/tasted enough to make a fair call. What is he gonna do by coming on here? he can either say, yes i sent you aegis' cut, or no, i burnt you.

Lots of non-bubba pix in this thread. Here is the real-deal pre-98 bubba cut, a bunch of pix to make verification easier. It usually throws a sterile nut or two that you should see during harvest or trim (see pic #5). I love it; it's my favorite evening strain--not too sleepy but super mellow, and great for killing pain. I will never replace it in my garden. THCV

Whats it gonna do if he comes on here? Possibly say what the hell it could be for starters. As for being burnt, that wasn't really what this thread was about bro. He could have mixed them up with one of his own strains he had. So as far as your trust with dood goes ...cool right on let me give you a cookie.... just keep your negativity you are tryin to leech into this thread to yourself. I appreciate your help. As long as you are being helpful. All Flip and I are doing is trying to get ppls opinions and comments (positive and informative ones) about what they think about the cut not about who what where it came from.

wait you got it mixed up, im really not trying to be negative. i see what you are saying about him coming in and saying what it could be, if i came off a little rough with the burnt bit, it wasnt directed at you at all. whats with the cookie shit? all i am doing is clarifying as much as I can. No i am not flip flops although i do know him but we are on total opposite sides of the country and i am almost old enough to be his dad....lol. So its all gravy. No harm no foul. Peace

rock phos,fish meal,rock dust/trace elements,and enzymes,and microbes,and
my special soil conditioner that unlocks everything in the soil..and the soil used is Supersoil 50%, and Ocean Forest 50%......Peace!
