is that the smell of the trichs while still alive? have a mature dried bud scent yet? eeee puttin me on the spot!! my thoughts are, that from the best pheno of bubba I've seen (the one that has looks, potency, deep dank scent of coffee bean, pine and that kind of funk smell..hard to describe that last smell, the citrus smell in it was very sharp and was a little hard to distinguish from the pine..those would be the scents that stood out the most for me,) on each bud, clusters of flowers pointed the pistils into one location. sort of a convoluted description, sorry...anyway flowers would turn purple with aid, not all the way, more like color applied w/ a brush. lets wait and see how your plant finishes, looks great so far though. oh yes and I forgot to say that my idea of it comes only from the plants I have seen/grown. And if it isnt the same pheno, then it could very well be something just as good, better, different, etc.

Est1977: Although you are correct about being short and squat, the real bubba does yield decently. Its obviously not a great yielder, but with a short flowering time and a moderate production with topping I do not believe one can complain with respect the mix of yield and quality.

having grown outdoors the Sour Diesel cut and ghosts version of OGK here in central Cali both show great potential in different ways.......the SD's grew to 1.5 lb plants and took 77 days to finish......great early/midday smoke with nice skank to 'em........the OGK took 66 days to finish and had the lemony/acrid dankness, but only produced 4-5 z's of top shelf ganj......a freind of mine just walks around with spliff suckin' it dry.....while never puttin' the torch to it.....says he loves the taste.....like a sour lemon drop.................

I agree w/ bubbaku, the yield is pretty good, because ALL the budsites produce a good sized, very dense nug, no matter if there wasnt enough light to that budsite, good kushes put the nugs there anyway.

If the stretch is next to nothing, it is Bubba Kush.
This one veg'ed for about 4 months. She is around 17-18 inchs long, has the thickest stem and branches, and the golf ball size buds on her are VERY dense. Hardly any stretch to her at all.

Just harvested my Bubba and I'm straight addicted to this weed, I can hardly let it cure...I keep taking out "tester bowls" lol.
