Sorry Bro....I grow Both the Sour Diesel and the OGKush SFV and They smell totally different.... The SFV OGKush has A Piney Lemoney Kush smell.....Totally different than the Sour D....Lots of strains have Lemon smells to them but doesnt mean they are related to the Sour D...Have you grown the OGK SFV before????? Nothin like the Sour Diesel.....Period...Grow it and you will Know...All the True Cali Kusheads will tell you that the OGKUSH from Cali has that Piney Lemoney dank smell and taste.....I was Born and raised here in So Cal and I've been smokin Cali Kushes for Quite Some time......I am thinkin you are not from Cali and have never picked up a BAG Of ogk OFF THE STReets of Cali..Or you would know this....But i could be wrong.....aRE YOU from Cali......???? ~ograskal

hold yer horses bro, no need to get butt hurt about this...I'm not from cali (thank jah), nor do i live in cali....I also have not grown the "SFV" cut or seen it grown, if you're telling me flat out that the SFV and the OG'ers/Ghost Kush are different I'll take your word for it...furthermore I shouldn't have assumed the SFV and Og'ers were the same, they look pretty similar in people's pics...

...however, I have seen the Og'ers/Ghost Kush grown many times and have puffed the nugs many times...and they without a doubt have a Sour Diesel~ish twang (which some people online describe as "pinesol/lemony", I however would rather be more specific in saying that they are SourD~ish...I also have been growing the real Sour D since 2003)...and I know damn well the multitude of flavors that cannabis can put out, ive grown hundreds of proven elites, local cuts, commercial seed cultivars, and my own hybrids...

...I have also grown/currently grow Abusives OGK which to me deftinately has some "cali kush" in it...I say this not having bought overpriced bags off the mean streetz of cali (lol), but having grown Bubba Kush and hybrids of it many times in the last couple years...

...Ask anyone if the Og'ers Kush (aka Ghost cut) has some Sour D in it & they WILL say yes, it's undeniable...in fact most people who have grown both would say flat out that Og'ers Kush appears to be some sort of OGK x SD...ask anyone if Abusives OGK is top notch/if it is related to Bubba in some round-about way and they'll probably say yes...If Bubba is a real deal/legitimate cali-kush and Abusives OGK reminds me of it in a handfull of ways (even though they are completely different in others) then why do people deny that it could be a cali kush that's been kept off the streets and in head jars until now (and that's why people have been seeing a more commercial variety of OGK on the streets that has the Lemony/pinesol taste that the Abusive OGK has far less of)?...

*If that is a link to the thread where Abusive talks about the origins of his OGK I have read it...is it really so far fetched to think that Snoop Dogg may have done a favor and had some cuts passed along? Not really...everyone knows rap/rock stars have the sweetest networking skills around...

Your plant is definately not Bubba Kush. The bud structure and plant look a whole lot like og kush except og kush doesn't have nearlt as much foliage. I've encountered this problem when I had an og kush S1. That might be what you have buddy. Either way comes out bomb. Good luck!

notice ograskal's bubba kush has upturned leaves, this cupping is a trait of bubba kush. Yours do not portray this....

i think that is caused by heat stress, that is not a trait of bubba, lol

raskal likes um right up tight to the lamp, check his gallery, most all his plants have that effect goin on. hes a hella grower that has his OP and grows dialed in right to the hairy edge. its shows as hes consistant everytime.

I have never grown the Ghost cut but i know people who have grown Both and its definately not the same.......I never said the Ghost cut doesnt smells like Sour D....Heck maybe it does.....I said the SFV cut doesnt smell like Sour D.......Cuz they are not the Same Strain......Exactly my Point....The SFV OGK cut and the Ghost/cut are 2 totally different cuts....Period

Hey Mr.Purple, You could be right...But I doubt it cuz I use an Aircooled tube and My temps are nice and Kool....And My Master, and Urkle are right up to the light and they arent doin that.....But you could be right cuz my plants are pretty close to the tube......Maybe around 5 inches away....None of my leaves ever look messed up though so I dont know....Seems my plants love it that close cuz they put out Mean Sticky Dank Buds.....And dont seem stressed at all...~ograskal

I will take your word for it, having not grown them...but only because you're the hardest cab grower around

*Snoop did just get busted with coke after a Jay Leno show too...his homies must not be bustin' out any proper OGK's anymore if he's resorting to that to get high...

*As 4 method man here's a related story; a well respected grower pal of mine declined the Bubba cut I offered him (half a year or so ago, before I had the OGK), scoffing "No thanks, I just got the L.A. Kush"....His pal had hyped it up to him as the best thing on the left coast... ...I asked him a few months later how the "L.A. Kush" turned out...he said it was heavy yielding, very Piney/Diesel~ey, and Chronic as hell... He too is very familiar with the Deez....who knows if his cut is the Ghost or the SFV Kush, but it is certainly not the Abusive...I could see a rapper getting some Ghost OG one week and some straight Sour D the next and think that they're too similar to be different...especially when they wrap everything up in blunts...

All the SFV I have grown and tried had a very slight scent of lemon, more acrid. It is there, but I wouldnt call it one of it's main characteristics. SFV kinda bunk imho, seeing as it only produces kush similar to the many other kush plants that are good specimens as well, I just don't see it as anything great. Hyping up such a plant when it really isnt so much better than the others, has a poor-moderate yield, so dang lanky that i had to just laugh at what a crappy plant to have hanging around when it was compared to some better kush plants I have seen.

then you aint got real sfv.. or real og. the abusive is way different in taqste than the sfv cut the ghost cut is simlar but not og.

some would think sour d and og ahve simialr tastes but theya re very different sour is just that sourtasting. og is lemon pinesol straight up. if you neveer tasted that taste from og you aint got og.
now the abusive version is good strong but ahs a slight citrus more ahshy falvor behind it. the sfv has a moer lemon pledge pinesol. real og ahs a lemon fuel taste very lemony very fuely chemmy. the ghost katsu cut is not the same ask katsu he smoke my sfv and loves it. he said it was nothing like the kut ghost was passing around abck in tha day. i ahd the ghost cut for a bit then lost it as i moved. but i ahve sfv,og,abusive og,real og and the chems so we will see what the real thing is and i vote thos pices are pegged to abusive

Thanks, i tell you what, when you know you got it, it is a very unique plant and very special IMOP. yeah the yiels may be low, but moderate. i get over an oz per plant, and the shit looks killer with great bag appeal. No problem getting 500 an oz. in my neck of the woods
