ive noticed if I overspray forbid in particular it does damage new growth. avid is alittle less damaging for me. if ur not seeing any mites or eggs i d give it a couple weeks and spray with avid. its easy to be paranoid knowing bm's tho! just my thoughts bro good luck

Thanks guys. Let u know what they look in a few days. They got aspirin via soil drench 2 days ago. Maybe ill foliar spray them with some aspirin today. Hopefully it's just the forbid since they did get dipped in it for a good 20+ seconds.

And yes, once you've had BM's it sure does make you paranoid!!!!!!

I used to use 1 bayer pill(325 mg) per spray bottle, now I use two pills to a spray bottle with very nice results. Been battling these lil pricks for like 2-3 yrs. Ive used aspirin all the way thru with good results, but buds still had the "dud" effect..Whats weird is that all strains don't have the "dud" effect...My SFV OG kush will get dudded in a heartbeat haha, but my kens GDP & kens kush isnt effected at all...Weird

Just to be clear: aspirin doesn't kill mites. It mitigates the effects of the toxins, but you still have to kill all the mites/eggs. And don't think your other strains won't be affected. Mites will often gather in large numbers on one or two plants, but when they are done with those, they will spread to the others. Aspirin or not, you will still get duds until all mites are eliminated.
In my experience, drench works better than foliar spray. Keep it in your rez @ all times.

Yea, I know that aspirin doesn't kill mites..Shit, they wouldve been dead by now. Ive been dealing with BM's for almost 3 yrs with the 1st year thinking it was TMV..Outta the 5 strains Ive had...Kens GDP/Kens Kush has never been effected at all. It retains smell, taste, potency, and yield. Almost every other strain that Ive grown has had the "dud" effect, or just simply didnt make it. I know its hard to believe, but thats the only 2 strains that have kept my head above water. Some strains are just more resistant than others...

Hey Strom Shadow.
I been following your threads on broad mites for months. Been living with them for almost a year...
My question is on your pics and identifying. I just got a 100X microscope and think I see eggs (small translucent balls). Dont look like your pics of the eggs with the spots. So I am just tripping?
AND You said they were "dancing and singing jingle bells" so were they super active?? I havent seen anything moving.

I hear you. That is strange. I have had a similar experience but with the same strain. Some plants weren't affected for unknown reasons, as they seem to gang up on certain plants. Don't know the reason.

This caught my eye. Although I didn't use Forbid or Avid on this last regular spray, I used Safer. I like to rotate all that shit in veg, anyways I spray all the new girls, and just for my personal knowledge I soaked one row of these girls. Their new growth, is identical to the " new growth symptom" of these BM's. I have never had BM's, but I saw your post and a follow up and I figured Id share my own personal exp.

I came to conclusion, i just nuked them, as I suspected would happen. But it was only the new growth that got hurt, just like that symptom you guys get with BM's.

not sure how long Forbid takes to kill the eggs? But I'm assuming by these pics you guys are going to tell me these are eggs, yes? I can see the reflection of the LED lights in them..... what does a dead egg look like once Forbid has done its thing? Anyhow just as a precaution I threw my 3 heaters in the room just now as the lights went "on" and will give the room a heat treatment. Once room hits 120 degrees I will give it an hour to hour and a half and then turn heaters off and cool room down....

Wow, so yours did that to and it wasnt forbid?! Yea, thats a trip..I noticed that when I sprayed my older vegging plants that they didnt get effected at all. Maybe I was spraying them to young or sumn. Anyways, when I saw that I put the forbid up lol..

Are you seeing movement in the adults. My eggs are about that size under my current scope. But I dont see any movement. IM wondering if my scope is big enough or I've killed the adults...
