Has any one killed Broad Mites with strictly high CO2 before or is that only theoretical at this point? To get 120F I would probably need more space heaters then I could even fit on the ground, it is a wide space with 10' ceiling
After using the Avid 1.5mL/gal 18 & 14 days ago I'm scoping ever day but luckily haven't found them alive again yet...... I still see a few "claw" leafs and pistils going brown though, so I have a fear they are hiding somewhere, although I read the toxic effects from their saliva can extend up to 2 weeks, so maybe its just that. I got a USB scope coming today (it has been a real pain focusing the $12 radio shack 60-100x mini LED one) so maybe I'll find them.
I wlil check everywhere, but where do you guys normally see these things show up first ??? Underside leaf, or would they be in among the buds feeding?
I am using 325mg/gal aspirin NSAID ever since detecting the broads. Anything else would help the plant bounce back?? Are there any SAR or harmin protein products that are a good choice in flower? I lost my entire last round with stunted buds when not knowing I had broads.
THANkS!!!
Undersides of the leaves is where you must check to look for eggs. Eggs are easier to see than mites. By the way, Avid doesn't kill eggs, just mites. Just pull some lower leaves off and examine with your new scope.
No one has documented a regimen of strictly CO2 as of yet, as far as I know.
As for heat, your lights are the main source of heat. Once AC/ventilation are shut off, room temperature rises dramatically. Then just add space heaters as necessary. Not difficult once you have it dialed in.
