damn bobble hope all is well! eff the cyber junkies! if it makes you any happier im making a 1800w vert circular scrog was going to do 2400 but couldn't fit them all :-/ my mother plants will be happy though first time ive seen vert bulbs today that shit is bright! even with didymium and lvl 5 shades! and feel better twiz!

Happy to hear I helped inspire you to switch. It takes a little bit more work than a horizontal grow, but it's well worth it imo. Less equipment, less electricity, same result = higher bottom line. 2400w would be sweet! But I would think you'd need a 10' ceiling.

Happy to hear those ELEs are treating you well nukku. A couple weeks ago I opened up a shoebox and found a few ELE nuggets... I must have forgot about them after I was done trimming. The sour really came out with a nice cure, good potency, but short lived.

Thieves really make my blood boil. I've earned everything I have, and I just don't understand how some people think they can just take what I have earned. I was a real jerk for a few days, and then I remembered I can always grow more money... It's just a temporary setback. Getting frustrated is just going to cloud my judgment and lead to bad decisions.

I run all my lights the full 12hs. It's all about that heat exchanger absorbing the heat. If you don't pay for water, you can just run tap water through it DTW, and all your heat will go down the drain.... I might do that in the summer. The wasted water isn't necessary right now.

You did a better job growing the ELE than I did bro. Mine got chopped a little early, so that's prolly why the high is so short for me.

As far as the heat exchanger goes... You can have a radiator in the grow room, and another outside or in another room. So the radiator in grow room will absorb the heat, and if the air outside or in the other room where the other radiator is is cooler than the water inside the exchanger , you can exchange the heat with that air, cooling your water down before sending it back. The other way to cool the water would be with a chiller. My res just sits in a cold room right now. REALLY cold.

I hear you on being eco-friendly... but really, there is nothing eco-friendly about indoor growing. If you want to recirculate the water you're going to need to use electricity to chill it in the summer. I'm sure you know where electricity comes from. I do recirculate right now, with a 50gal res. The water seems to have enough time to cool off before reentering.

What's up guys!

I'm staying real busy over here. Today I rented a U-haul and got to work! Took all the equipment I've been buying up and finally got it out of my apartment. What a relief. Once I got that unloaded, well then it was time to get lumber! $200 for lumber, $100 for other miscellaneous stuff, $280 for 4' x 200' of reflectix! ... Its gonna be shiny!

Good credit is truly a beautiful thing. W/o it, life in this country is so much harder! I couldn't rent the truck until I received my replacement credit cards. I got myself a home depot card: 10% of purchases, and no interest charge if paid in full within 6 months! Holla! I helped my cashier, this 110lb young thang, move a cart loaded with paint... So she gave me another 10% off. It also pays to be nice.

Oh, and I would also like to thank Home Depot for doing all my cutting for free. I had them cut 320 1' sections out of 2x2x8 fir strip.

Anyway, it's still early on this beautiful sunny day... I might be headed back to the shop. Time is a-wastin! I want this thing up and running like the day before yesterday. ha ha... It's gonna be the culmination of everything I've learned here and experienced.

Here's to hoping I get it right on the first try! ha ha...
