Yeah, Sensi didn't change their packs for years, but until recently the packs were always 15s, that much I can say 100% for sure, I remember them changing the numbers.

Prices stayed the same, so really, their seeds got more expensive as you got less in a pack.

It's a lottery rick, you might get plants as good as the old 90s sensi lines or you might get crap like they peddle nowadays, you'll have to grow em to know I guess.

true true,,,,lets hope they germ:),,,,,,honestly indifferent bro,,,,

you should see these packs bro,,,,they aint new,,,,ive got a pack of juicy fruit with the same packaging

While the blues is a quite pleasant taste, it can't hold a candle to a good pheno of DJ's Blueberry.

Could your friend have already grown out 5 seeds from each of those packs rick?

With Sensi, it's a crap shoot these days. Most of their lines have changed and not for the better, but some are said to be pretty much as before like Hindu Kush and Afghani #1, but those were so inbred before sensi got them it would be hard to mess em up.

Hey englishrick could you put me down for a pack of those bluesxcheese also? I would love to try these. Yes i'll admit it i'm a cheese head but if you like the blues aren't you 1 also. Hey Docleaf whats up, I enjoy your post a lot, you too beAn. So indifferent are you saying that if I get a few pack of seedsman skunk that I could find something very similar to cheese in structure but maybe with a more skunky smell possibly? And would I have to search threw F2s i'd have to make or seeds from the original packs might contain that which I seek?

Sorry for popping in and out of the thread its just I like hearing about some of these fantastic UK strains. I live in the US and Sour Diesel and some unknown strain from Humbolt have been the stinkiest to come thru my town. I guess I just really get excited when I hear about good tasting stinky strains. Well all of u take care hope to join this discussion again real soon. ONE

Seedsman skunk #1 will give you some plants that look just like Cheese but whether you will find one that stinks like that is unknown, the stink is a recessive trait and may be a 1 in 1000 shot.

in that case all you would really have to do is find a male that looks like the cheese clone in growth and then cross it to the cheese, search through the f1s take cuttings and flower them which ever female has the putrid reek you know is the keeper pheno so label her and polenate all the female along with the labelled stinker if the stinker isnt in the f1's it will be in the f2's and rarely if not your sure to find it in the f3's but to save your self the hassle, theres always the backcross

There will be loads of plants that look like the Cheese, locking down the stinky trait will take multiple generations though as it's recessive. Some people are already well into projects to do this. God knows why, it's just a boring old skunk, only thing unusual about it is it stinks more than most.

why not use rez's sd ibl for a male and breed that to the cheese or blues ,sour diesel stinks just as bad :eggnog:

That would work.

Yumboldt would be my choice as it's a super stinky afghan, probably very similar to the afghan used to make skunk in the first place. The Cheese x Yumboldt cutting smells and tastes exactly like the original cheese, looks like it too, just more compact and chunky. That one was just a random shot from accidentally pollinated seeds but it suggests a Yumboldt male would be an ideal choice.

imo ,,,without a doubt , using rez`s sdibl on the blue would create dificultys in making my desired traits homozygote....only because the Cheese shares SO many generic traits with the blue do i think its gona work propperly,,,,

Also, the 'IBL' part of the name is just marketing, it's a long way from being an inbred line. I liked the plants I got a lot, but the variation was huge, not a line suitable for outcrossing imho.

imo,,,,, rez was the dude who resurected the idea of ibl ,,,,,,he started his sdibl with somas nycd [i think],,,,,,imo somas nycd was amazing,,,,,,i like the place he started

an nowadays hes using a propper homogeneous hkush,,,,all power to him i say:),,,,,,hk has gota be a good option compared to a tried an tested [smoked a millinon times] afghan or good old skunk:)

incrossing beffore outcrossing,,,,,,,,imo

He resurrected the idea of using the phrase 'ibl' to sell seeds, I don't see what he did that was new in terms of breeding.

Yeah, he started with Soma's NYCD, which I doubt has any Sour Diesel in it. The bagseed which Soma used was probably closer to the 'Original Diesel/Headband/Daywrecker' than ECSD.

Give Shantibaba some credit for the quality of NYCD as he gave Soma the Afghan/Hawaiian male that Soma used to cross to his NY bagseed and NYCD shows a lot of Afghan/Hawaiian influence, it's mostly the sweet tropical grapefruit of the Afghan/Hawaiian with only a hint of Diesel. There are more fuelly phenos, but the best ones are closer to the Afghan/Hawaiian. NYCD built it's rep back when the Diesel cuttings weren't widely held or well known, not saying the NYCD isn't good weed, it is, but it doesn't compare to the ECSD cut imho.

Rez chose Hindu Kush because when he made test crosses with the Afghani #1 and Hindu Kush, it was the HK which produced the most consistent offspring and was most recessive.

ahh man,,,,i used to grow somas own cut of the NYCD ,,an thats a challange,,,ECSD vs SomasNYCD Clone,,,yeh,,,true!,,gota give credit to shanti for the hawian male used in somas NYCD,,,,,,an i gota admit NYCD aint THAT stable, but some inderviduals were defo amazing,,,somas clone was UltraAmazing!!!!

imo,,,rez has good ideas,,,,,the whole concept of inbreeding the ecsd clone was a good idea,,,,,,i think what hes doing with the ChemD an hk now sounds very good,,,,,
