we'd rather a pre2000 Super Skunk [Sensi Seeds] anyday of the week... one spliff of Super Skunk could get a crowd of 3 giggling,,, with a classic skunk taste and smell (the sort that stays about the house all-day long). It's a shame Sensi screwed the line up.

Perhaps 1 in 20 (female) Skunk#1 plants produces the same/similar scent and effect (if your lucky)... Neon Super Skunk [subcool] contains some of the old magic, the structure is close, but the AK47 tends to overtone the skunk in lineage.

still searching for that classic old-school skunk... good luck

bless

Those bud shots in the earlier post are awesome clouds. One man's schwag is another man's keeper, eh

Some people (particularly if used to indica doms) become impatient with sativa dominant strains. The fact that he didnt finish the grow means he is not in a position to judge the strain. I can't blame somebody for getting impatient, sativa dom strains can be a hell of a lot harder to grow and need special attention sometimes, especially to control stretch and flower response.

All your stuff looks premature! Even your cured sourdiesel could have used a couple more weeks! Don't get so impatient buddy! And the cheese still stretching at 5 weeks? Are you sure you have them in complete darkness for 12 hrs? No cracks of light or anything getting through? Cause that is definetly not a genetic problem man! I don't know shit about this buddha guy, but, even a pure sativa would have started flowering by 5 weeks if it were given the right conditions! Check your room for light leaks! Peace and good luck next time!

Sorry I mentioned it before you man! 5 weeks and no sign of flower? I wasn't even talkin' to you anyway so why does it matter to you? Isn't this sight for helping and sharing with other growers? You may not need help, but someone who isn't seeing flowers in 35 days might. Sorry that my info bothered you so much! If something like that bugged you so much, why do you even participate in this sight? Probably just to point out all the people that aren't as cool as you THINK you are! I bet you must have at least three friends outside the internet with ab attitude like that! mtnPunk!

hey everyone

I was suprised to read the bad ratings on blue cheese. I had never tried cheese or blue cheese when i had first came acroos this thread and I had been thinking about buying some untill i read this.

However, At a poker game the other night someone there had some. I was pleasantly suprised when my head started buzzing slightly after about 3 whacks. This blue cheese looked, tasted, and smelled very pleasing. The high was definately an up high with little body stone even after smoking a few to many hits. It reminded me of the DJ blueberry i grew out last year.

Along with the BLue Cheese, there was strawberry cough and a hash plant being sampled around the table. I would gladly put any of those strains i tasted that night into my garden.
Peace

Big Buddah Cheese

Big Buddah Cheese

No complaints here - NONE. In fact quite the contrary....

I have had it for 3 years, and I share - it is a local favorite. This is the afghani dominant pheno, but the stink of cheese, in the grow, and in the smoke is unmistakeable. It is the stinkiest plant in the garden. Indoors, no filter can contain the odour, in the last 10 days or so. If security is a problem, this would not work, as all smell it. Perhaps its' defense is that it really does not smell like pot, to the untrained nose. But it sure smells like something to them, as well. lol

The buzz is soothing and the taste is aromatherapy inhaled. I am smoking bongloads as we 'speak.' YUM. Needs a month in a jar, after drying. Then it is disarmingly delicious and unique.

Finishes very quick, either 49 or up to 55 days depending on temp of room, and if CO2 is being used. Moderately heat sensitive. Prone to 'castling' if there is too much heat, then not as juicy...

Outdoors, it will yield as big as the container or hole you dig. The root system is its' strongest attribute, and my pheno needs to be transplanted before any other strains. It is sensitive to nutes, and needs less than the indicas in the garden.

Not the most 'bag appeal,' a solid olive green, but those who can discern can pick out why it is revered. And it should be. The calyxes are sick.

The Homegrown Fantasy version was good, and was the 'fruity pheno,' as we call it. I lined up for my 1 gram, like everyone else. And I voted it as my favorite two years in a row (Big Buddah seed co., last year). But the pictured pheno is far superior in all ways to the HG F version which was airy as the fruity pheno can be.... The pictured pheno is dank, and fully smells/tastes like sweet blue cheese.

I purchased the beans from 'da Man,' at the C cup 2006, just to support him, and maybe get some new vigour. I am not expecting to improve on this pheno, but there is one - well, time will tell. I have 4 new moms, all clones taken, and a couple have made it into the flowering room. The seed moms are outdoors.

We may see a 'better' (in the breeder's estimation) version of Blue Cheese released by Big Buddah, maybe not. One not utilizing the DJ Short Blueberry.

The BBC hash is lovely, and carries the taste of the bud. l call it cheese-cheese.

It really is super yummy, and always surprising after the month in the jar... Each day it tastes better. Not the biggest yielder, or it would be 'Da Grail.'

Definitely my favorite everyday smoke, due to the non-immunity, no-ceiling factors....

Thanks for reading..!
