23oz from 2kw? what???

Here's one experiment I been running, just a verticle 600w with 100% organic growing principles... I just add water, and maybe some molasses mid-late bloom.

verticle 600w, 5gallon buckets FFHF/perlite. blood bone alfalfa kelp dolomite castings cotton.

organic growing is great fun ;)

Damn Blaze,
I always love your updates. That Ganja factory is tight, and the simplicity, MAN! Got to love it. I bet the hardest part of your growing is moving things around. And the trim of course, but really, with buds that beautiful, who complains? LOL :D I am with Nite Tiger, I would love to be at your pad on trimming day! I bet the finger hash is great. Keep up the great work my man, and keep fighting the good fight! We all love your show, thanks for showing us all how simple things can really be!!

Stay safe brother,

Cannabeard

Thanks for the kind words and thanks for stopping in!

just a couple quick comments re: the mix so far with my experimenting.

1. don't let it sit. i did, and it became too hot for small plants/cuttings. it didn't really burn them, just stunted their growth (i guess roots couldn't grow well).

2. if you're making a pro-mix replacement, consider adding some dolomite lime. i didn't, and i had a ph problem pretty quickly which also stunted growth. now that was with seedlings... for rooting cuttings, maybe there's not enough time for the peat to acidify too much--not sure at this point to be honest. (i think 1tbsp dolomite lime/gallon of mix--still experimenting with it)

3. use at least 3-gal bags/containers. i had some smallish plants and used 2-gal bags, but that was not enough, i had to fertilize toward the end.

does that sound about right?

Thanks for sharing your experience, I use 1/2 cup of lime for every mix hasnt let me down so far :)

Yeah neptune 23 oz, But if you figure it up, 10 plants 23 oz = over 2 zips a plant. I sure wont complain considering this harvest was only 1 month behind the other, Plus I got 20 comming down soon, So in the end it all works out. I dont expect to pull no 4 oz plants with this system :) Plus neptune you cannot say from 2k watts, Because Why these 10 were being chopped, There was 20 more under the other 1000 so if you really add it up its 23 oz from 1k in light not 2. There is always 2 crops in the room 1 under each light so each crop is basically grown from 1k. Plus put into consideration I have 20 more comming down soon its not so bad :)

That is a crazy amount of weed blaze (you got growing weed under manners my friend)

I can only hope to get there one day, the target is to smoke pure own grown cronic all the time.

I`m hoping to go from 400watts in a closet to 1000watts in a 6' by 4' shed (drawing up the plans tonite) so hopefully the daydreams will become a reality.

Hey PHANTOM, Thanks for the kind words. I want to make it clear that there was once a time when all this was mearly nothing more than a faint dream. I took charge and put forth much effort in getting here. So just aim for them dreams and surely you will achieve everything you want from this. Same principle as anything else in life. If you strive for it and put forth the effort needed you will succeed. I hope you the best with all your future crops. :joint: :joint:

Hi Blaze, thanks for the soil recipe and the grow show ya got going. Ive seen amazing results in just the past week and its really simplified my growing life. Quick question for you or anyone else: Can we expect same amazing results if used mix on outdoor holes and does the mix go stale if its prepped a few months ahead of time. Thanks kindly

Yeah you can get some great results outdoors, I mean I have not seen or done it digging hole for MJ but I have seen some nice ones outdoors in bags. So IMHO I am pretty sure it would work out just fine. Well if you are going to mix 3 months ahead of time I would break all the miracle grow organic soil open and allow it to set out for a week or 2 to dry out before mixing it up, Then once its dry no moisture left do the mix and store it in rubbermain containers or something and it should be fine for use come time...

Your welcome...

nice! blaze, i'm setting up my room as we speak.. sort of in need of a transplant so im deciding on my mix.. i got 4cu of peat, 4cu of perlite, and 4cu of vermiculate..lime too..

anyway, i wanted to comment on your perpetual method.. I'm going to follow it after the first run in my new room. 2 lights, no movers. Well if I can handle the heat, otherwise one lamp, on a mover..

I have no choice but to flower the whole room this first time since I have 30 seedlings to pick through.. There is 80% chance everything is female (i think i made fem seeds).

This really seems to be an excellent way to keep things going quickly and not get too backed up or ahead of yourself..

So come on, keep the pics coming. Looks great!
