ruderalis = lowryder = autoflowering crap

anyways my normal Cream Caramel from Sweet seeds also flowering nicely already.

the Cream Caramel started at early August, around Aug 5th. Now they are 2 weeks in flowering already, nice lil tight hairy flowers. dont really take pix yet by security reasons plus I attend the gardens usually at night... but I'll document the results latest at harvest time. The CC plants are 2 m tall, nice bushy indica dom plants. def will grow it again at next year... really love how early they are.

last year I grew their Cream-47 what was really potent but finished very late, around early to mid Nov. if I remember well. thats not the best strain for outdoors.

this is why I'll stay with the CC from SS. the SS's FV collection was made for very short season regions. I grow for quality.

Hell yeah thanks for the feedback guys. I'll keep the cream caramel in mind!

I've heard good things about killer kush. Suppose to be a throwback of the original og kush. Should be decent. Its super early! Lots of time to finish in killer sun.

I'm hoping that the ruderalis mostly just affects flowering time and not potency. Would be cool to get some tested!

u think with a hoop house humidity in the night could be an issue?

Yeah it is. I usually have fans running across the canopy in the hoophouse. It at least slows bud rot down. If no fans then I try to leave a couple feet at the base of the hoop house and the ends open for air flow.

do u plan on covering these beauties ? with polysheeting and if so humidity issues?

Yep or move under moto shade. I'm gonna build a hoop house over that hoop house :)

Im gonna pull a bud of KK, and see bout a better smoke report. Let Me preface this by saying I have been smoking dry sieve pressed hash all day, so this is mostly for taste's sake.lol

Ok,,, Here goes. The buds I have are roughly 2.5' long as big around as the wide side of a Bic. I would call the green an OD green, with brown leaning orange hairs short, but plentiful. the sugar leaf is plenty frosty for a slightly shaggy trim to look good. some may prefere a closer trim, but I feel on these buds, to do so would damage the buds. they are firm, with a nice squeeze/rebound. not rock hard. (nicely cured)
Smell is reminiscent of that mild musky old school hash(80-83ish) not real spicey. just mild musky with a hint of that hash spice to it.
Smoke is thick on inhale it coats the tongue/roof of Your mouth. It is thick, but smooth. Exhale is thick, but not expansive.
Effect settles heavy in the chest, rising to the lower regions of My skull, leaving a mildly narcotic(floaty) head. it is clear enough, just kinda happy/euphoric.
I got these effects through the hash I been hitting all day.

I hope this makes a little since to some one. I do like it. I do not remember how the Friend Who gifted it to Me, said it yielded.
I think it has a place in My jars, for sure.
P.S. that was after 3 hits in a clean glass spoon.

if u get bud rot try greencure near the last two weeks foliar spray ive heard 2 weeks out it can save u tons of bud rot. and its not as bad as serande.

ive recently read something about certain cal foliars that helping thwart bud rot. ill try to find the thread and post it. i think it was one of milky joes posts...ive learned alot reading his posts this season. i hate the pissing contests and dick measuring found in some of the big plant\outdoor threads, but i guess you have to sift through some shit to get the gold.
...just cut down and composted 3 of the 4 gscroses....balls everywhere:( luckily i really had too many plants for the space, so not really a big deal. ill send you some pics this week. they are all 10 or so days into flower.

Sounds/Smells good to me :) Don't think ive ever grown just the plain OG kush.. I usually have great results with OG crosses outdoors so the pure OG should be a real crowd pleaser.

Ok, thanks for the idea. Ive seen some others using it. I have never tried it though. Whats so bad about serenade? the smell? I have some of that on hand. U think spraying with it would work as good as greencure?

Yeah, i started foliar spraying a cal and mag foliar spray after chatting with milkey. Ive also been trying to thwart it by spraying in addition to those silica, potassium, and aloe. Trying to induce SAR with the aloe.

So ive seen growers trying to fight bud rot with fungicides, SAR inducers, and Calcium foliars. I wonder whats better to fight bud rot with or if using all in conjunction is best?

So did those crosses end up hermis or males?
