On the good years I run a big outdoor scrog on my medical garden. I do this because I have limited space, want to maximize variety, and it increases my yield big time.

This year I pheno hunted new varieties and its not happening as good as normal. Only the mickey and blue og are about proper in size. The BC sweet tooth and qrazy train - train wreck pheno are close to the right size but a Lil behind. The qrazy train - urkle pheno is dieing for some reason and my cheese candy pheno didn't get that big.

Last year the scrog turned out pretty good but 2 years ago it was massive. Hopefully my rec garden will make up for it :)

Here are some close shots of the girls in the scrog:

Qrazy train - train wreck pheno:

Qrazy train - urkle pheno

I think it might have fusarium wilt or some super sensitivity to heat. Not sure.

Gardens are looking good, bigdank! That last Qrazy train plant is not real happy. Give her extra water. I hope you don't have fusarium! Killer kush is well on the way, isn't she! Thanks for sharing! :smoke:

Thanks pipeline.

I figured out the problem with the qrazy train. It had some sort of rot. Its not the root rot I've seen before. She did not make it.....have a look at the photos:

I think adding the paraffin wax made things worse. It held moisture in big time. Its probably my fault for getting the stock wet when watering but I couldn't help it. When I water and foliar the plants always get soaked. The have always loved it.

A bummer for sure. My other plants don't have this problem so I'm thinking it has something to do with genetics. Especially since I put clones of this at another spot and its having a similar problem. Didn't put any wax on it and its still hanging in there though.

try simmering a few cloves of garlic for 10min and then add with 2 cups of milk to a gallon of water... and spray them all...milk is against PM and Garlic against fungies and other nastys... this will / should purk them up!
Looks like my qrazy train - urkle pheno might not make it much longer. It has something wrong with it. Never seen this happen on any other strain. But at another garden I put this pheno at its doing the same thing. It has a super sensitivity to heat. Might be fusarium wilt but not sure.

So far the third dimension and qrazy train from TGA is pretty fuckin weak sauce. I still love the mickey kush outdoors though :) the 3d is at another spot.

The blue og, cheese candy, qrazy trains are all taking too long to flower. The mickey kush is right on track to finish at the end of September though. Those others are gonna go into October easy or else pull em early. I'm done trying other tga strains outdoor. Mickey kush is in a class of its own. I'm gonna have to build a hoop house to finish the others...

Not sure, this is my first time growing it. Ill let you know. The killer kush fast version started flowering on July 20th at 45 lat so it might flower really early for you. Maybe too early. Might try the non fast version. Smells killer though :)

Nope, grew it from seed. Last year i grew about 20 strains from clone and the mickey kush impressed me the most and is available in seed from TGA. I grabbed a 10 pack this Spring. Used the males to breed with. Made 5 mickey crosses im going to try out some day. Thinking about crossing the mickey crosses to something that will speed it up. Making some Mickey Kush F2's right now if everything pollinated right.

thats a great idea. mickey kushes that flower even earlier? super-autoflower-bushes is what your saying ? :scripture:

Sounds like a good home remedy. Everything is super perky. Just that one plant that was doomed.

That losses suck man, but the rest looks great

For sure thx

Its raining hardcore

Its raining hardcore

Since 2 nights ago its been pissing like a monkeys uncle. Thunderstorms and flash rains been hitting my valley and its suppose to happen everyday til Wednesday...... This doesn't happen every year at this time so this blows.. My other plants are still early enough in flower to be unaffected but my killer kush fv is too plump to be soaking wet for a week strait. These are OG Kush nuggets... September looks wet and until we hit a sun patch late next week I brought my girl indoors under a 400 watt hps. Its perfect temp and humidity in here.

Take a look:

The killer kush is responding well to the indoors over the last 3 days. I'll move her back outside on Thursday morning to let her finish up all natural :)

Here is some pics.

killer kush looks great. Any flowers on the blue mystic?

Thanks. Unfortunatly, no. The blue mystic, papaya, and BC sweet tooth have not started yet!!! Do u think its just these phenos that are so late? I'm not sure they will ever finish at this point. The blue og, qrazy train, cheese candy, and fresh candy have started though.

when does the killer come down ? 2-3 weeks.

Yeah. Today is the first day of week 7 so I was hoping only 2 more weeks. But I'll take it to 9 if it needs it. I thought it was going to be a bit speedier in flowering but no complaints here. Its super loud smelling. I would love to pheno hunt this strain for the varietal that finishes at the end of August.

Man, sorry to hear about losing that big plant! Looks just like the rot I always get on my squash plants. Watering in the evenings can promote disease and rot because everything stays wet for so long. Always water in the morning before it gets too warm or early evening so it has time to dry out.

Killer kush there sure looks loud! Sorry to hear about he heavy rains. You need to build little hoop houses over everything! When its wet for days, there isn't much you can do. Keep a close eye for mold, and pick it out quickly. Hey, can't complain about early smoke tester buds. :smoke:
