Killer kush flowers on July 28th. My first and only plant flowering at the moment. If this weed is dank I'm going to run a bunch of sweet seeds fast versions next year

I see your killer kush is already showin her ladyparts!!! Only thing I've seen at any of my buddies greenhouses is a pistil here or there! Maybe a fast finisher eh?

Thanks. I had a couple ups and downs but overall in good shape. I've done better. Still learning a lot every year!
Yep that killer kush is flowering for real! Earliest I've seen. All my smart pot plants are suppose to finish early but nothing in my garden is flowering yet except killer kush fast version from sweet seeds. If this weed is dank I'm going to run more fast versions next year
I don't have any problems with pm outdoor this time of year. Just bud rot but typically only at the end of flowering. This could be one of those late years though...
I'm trying to fight disease with foliar sprays. Ive been foliaring with calcium, magnesium, silica, and potassium. I mix the first 3 together and foliar. They get the potassium in a compost tea that has omri kelp extract, hydrolized fish, and fulvix. I root drench and foliar the tea. I alternate the foliars every other day and mist spray filtered water on the days in between if its sunny and warm.
I think the foliar sprays are making all the difference. I was told that foliaring with these nutrients will give the plants luxury levels which will help fight off disease and pests. So far so good. Only used to use the tea.

Also, I mostly grow from seed but got 1 cut from Eugene area this year - Blackwater - ever hear of it or know anything about its genetics?

As far as i know, blackwater is a purple xed with an og kush. Not sure which purple, but its a cali connect cross, unless its also a clone only, which many of his creations have clone only monikers. I've heard many times that its fire and of the examples I've heard spoken highly of when others bad mouth swerve's skills. Never grown or smoked it. I just read alot about weed, hope this helps

Wow, thanks a lot. Great information. I hear someone did well with it last year here in the desert but have not tasted the results. As far as I know, it is a clone only strain. I intend to change that by making some seeds this season.

Man, I hope it turns out...one of my nicer plants.
The cut was marked "blackwater IV" if that means anything...
Someone gave my buddy 4 three ft tall Blackwater's last month. They looked killer. He gave me one. I put it at another plot and the gophers and mice ate it. I'm bummed. Going to try and trade a blue mystic plant for another blackwater plant today. It would be just enough time to get a couple ounces of new variety. I'll let u know what happened.
My buddy said it was grand daddy purps x sfv og. Sounds delicious.
As far as the products I use to foliar spray with.
Calcium - down to earth liquid cal
Magnesium - omri Epsom salt Monterey brand
Silica - protekt dynna grow brand
Potassium - omri kelp extract from kelp4less
I pre dilute everything in 2 cups of water before mixing together. I pre dilute all my tea ingredients before mixing as well. The Epsom salt takes the most work to dilute. I have to really stir it for a while.

Thanks for the information/directions.
Ended up with a clone of pie face. All the blackwater was used up. Pie face I was told is cherry pie x face off og. Anything og has a good chance of being dank outdoor here.

I ordered it from the single seed center. The breeder is sweet seeds. They have a few other fast versions as well. They even released an article on how to make your own fast versions of any strain. I'm gonna try and speed up a few strains by crossing with gorilla gold from smoke a lot seeds. That's kinda a fast version already. Its suppose to finish the same time as this killer kush, late August or early September.
