It is the same guy and I've known him for over a decade. I'd still hit the peelers with him, but after seeing the ins and outs, always shy people away from the business. It's just too much of a gamble. Like the pictures here prove, it's not impossible to get a keeper or find something special, the odds just aren't in your favour.
Okay cool that you can provide the insight! He had said him and reeferman aka "Charles Scott" were working together so maybe that says something maybe it doesnt. Two members vouched for the outdoor BB, I think I'll try it as DJ's, PeakseedBC and Joey Weed's weren't much for OD plants in the IBL form.

I`ve tried DJ's new version of BlueBerry after he lost his genetics and I`m sorry to say but the BB clones I got as a DJ short genetic sucked assholes.. I mean it was shit.. The True BlueBerry was good and reminds me a hell of a lot like the BC Blueberry but the True was lightly more indica, same exact blueberry pie smell.
I`ve tried BlueBerry from a bunch of breeders and more than half are selling the fake shit (tasteless Colombian/Thai/Afghani hybrid), even DJ's new BB sucks imo.
I`m also growing a few "NorCal BlueBerry Kush x Blueberry muffin", "Blueberry Muffin IBL" (myself), and the "BC Blueberry IBL".. It's going to be a very berry harvest.
Regardless of the owner or their marketing strategy, the genetics are solid in the BB.

Sorry about the grainy photos but I didn't make the time to get the true resolution out of anything.
Anyway, this is BC BlueBerry IBL from BC Bud Depot @ about 2.5 weeks. They stretch a little, not too bad. I would not say that they are squat because they stretched about 12"-18" during the first couple weeks of 12/12. That is about typical for most of my plants and they usually fill up the stretch with buds.
Of the 4 females plants, all are very similar, almost identical. One plant sticks out a little more than the others, the BCBB I labeled #2. It smells like blueberry pie and is very similar to the blueberry muffin types. I am very happy with the pleasant aroma and hopefully she will continue to shine in the next 6 weeks.
This pict is about half of the top of bcbb#2. It is about 4' tall with maybe 30 branches with yield. No "lollypopping" (even though I should) no strings/sticks and shit.. a full canopy will hold up itself, even if the wet weight is 15+lbs. lol.
Note: I will not be able to pull the plant out like this in a few weeks, the flowers will swell and topple over due to weight unless they are being held upright by the canopy.

the fertilizer is my own mix of monoPotassium Phosphate, Calcium nitrate, Magnesium Sulfate, Soluble kelp (1-0-18), Humic powder, and azomite. ppm @ 450-500, water @ 25. The medium is reused Coco/perlite, I have no problem knocking the roots out of one pot and putting another plant in the same soil 5 minutes later.. Just a flush and a "soak" is all they need. As you can see, the plant is quite healthy with 450ppm. Don't believe everything you read from the bullshit artists.
In 3-4 weeks, I will switch to worm casting and kelp tea. I have no problem switching to organic with the low PPM and light flush, the plants love it.
Edit: I should add that if anyone orders from BCBD, don't expect "Breeder packaging" from their own line. plastic.
Edit Edit.. Did anyone notice that my 'full-bloom' ppm is near what many people consider to be at acceptable but high "tap water" levels? my tap is @ 25ppm. lucky.

ok, this will be one of the last updates. She is about to get seeded by her 'brother' from the IBL seeds. I decided that I will sacrifice the flowers for the greater good, being a ton of BlueBerry seeds. These picts are at about 4 weeks of 12/12 and she is ready to get hit with pollen. She smells like berries, has good resin production, and I like her overall growth pattern. BC Bud Depot has quality BlueBerry genetics. Thanks for tuning in, folks.

She was indoor until about a week ago. I decided to pull a couple from the indoor tent and sling some Blueberry IBL pollen. I noticed a hermi banana on BB#1, none of the others are showing. BB#2 of the 4 females shows the most promise.
I will pop the rest of the 6 seeds I have but I am happy with #2 as a clone keeper. Large yield, fruity BB smell, good resin production, lovin` the colors too. I wished I could pop 200 seeds looking for the perfect female but these plants all seen fairly similar. They are probably 2ed or 3rd generation IBL

OK, here are a few better picts.

I`m getting a strong Berry/NYCD smell from one of them, a subtle NYCD with a strong Berry from another, another plant smells kinda bland and the last one smells like BlueBerry/Chocolate Thai.. This one pictured is the one I labelled #1 and it is the BlueBerry /Chocolate Thai smelling one, it had 1 hermi banana when I put them outside for some pollen but I plucked it off and didnt see anymore.

I ran their Blueberry cut back when they were selling clones.........and that looks pretty bang on from what I remember.
I also ran their Godbud cut (RIP)........I got a pack of s1's directly from BCBD to try OD's this season........interested to see how they stack up to the original cut.

All yielded fairly, all had great smell which ranged from Blueberry/NYdiesel odors, I have not yet tasted the product but all are chopped.
well, here is the #1 pheno of the 4 females. This one had the best smell, size, appearance, ect, qualities. It had about 200-400 seeds in it and probably around 200grams as dried.
