BC Bud Depot Blueberry and Ultimate Purple

Yeah I'm not and haven't ever been a bcbd fan, only reason I'd ever visit their site is to heck out reefs gear they carry. I stick strictly to bodhi, motarebel, mr nice, and I've been considering relentless and jaws gear for my next purchases

I'd be happy with other purp recommendations, taste info/profile especially.

I`m growing BC BudDepot BlueBerry, not flowered her yet and of the 6 seeds I planted, 2 were male, 4 were female, all are identical in veg. All of the plants in veg also resemble a "True BlueBerry - DJ Short" clone which was going around in NorCal, musky/fruity smell in the stems/leaves, very dark red tops on leaf arms, beautiful marbling of reds and greens on the stems. The plants are a little tall but not excessively, each are about 24" tall with about 20 shoots.

I`ll be blooming them soon and if I grow a bowl of blueberries at 8ounces per gallon of medium, I`ll be happy. btw, I use an organic blend of guano, kelp, micros, in a circulatory flood-drain with 1 gallon pots of coco. My res is constantly circulated and "in-ground" to prevent temps changes. pH never shifts, filled with beni bacteria, has aquarium pump and citric acid feed cycle (KREBS). The ppm is around 300 with tap water @ 20, N-P-K runs about 8-30-20 during mid-to-late bloom and much of the ppm is MagSulfate. ..weird, eh?

My organic res does not smell like death, it smells like earth and soil.






Edit: BCBD Ultimate Purple (clone) is being traded by some NorCal locals. I never tried, sorry.

this one's easy--if you want some of the best blueberry you'll ever grow you should jump on some of verdantgreen's bluedigiberry f2s coming up in a week or two on seedbay in the private breeder section. arguing about the reputability of bcbd or the quality of dj's gear serves no purpose here. spend a few hundred for mutants or question marks or spend half that and get a few packs some of the finest blueberry in the world. it's a no-brainer.

So yeah this is thrue but first you must learn the hard way and order from them so you can grow their gear and get all hermies but one...grow it out ,clone it,see for yourself that their genetics are subpar and move on to greener pastures.

Smells and tastes like grape juice.very sweet and tasty.reletive sativa high,but lacking in potency.

i got good results with a pack of purple Buddha from bcbd

there ultimate purple tho was another matter 2 packs when it was first released and not one seed popped, something diffinatly happened to them in transit or were just dud seeds from start !....... i tryed to inform them on the fourm they had by personal message and just got totally ignored........ i know how to pop seeds, i pop more than most growers, and they were just pure faulty all different sizes to not one from 24 seeds !

still wrangles me to this day the way i was ignored

I've always been off put of BCBD until I had a chance to talk to the owner, He seemed legit honestly, Very willing to help me with most anything I asked. He seemed very knowledgeable about the strains he has bred himself. I inferred that he outsourced some work or it was at least certain strains had been bred in another country.

He is also working quite closely with Charles Scott from Reeferman seeds if that means anything.

I would consider trying them now. I definitely want to see more grows before that moment ever takes place. So post up your grows friends.

Good luck getting any positive feedback,, I made the mistake of posting my cali connection gsc, grow.. had nothing but a bunch of tools talking shit, through the whole thread..
And the funny thing is, the beans were fire, lol.. still ain't good enough for the people around here that have these sticks up they asses for swerve and bcbd.. I'm willing to bet u will find some nice smoke..cannabis doesn't know the difference between the different types of egos that may procure her.. if there's any decent genetics being used, u will have a chance finding great herb..I don't care if Charlie Manson made the beans, and stole the pictures from somebody else, and then lied about the name, lol.. shit have the breeders out there lie about the Damn cuts they used to create shit..

Thats the thing..i dont need to get them from bcbd in canada,they've sent their lines all over the world,so it it certainly wont be them at fault if my money is nicked,if the beans turn out bad ill tell ya,if they're great ill still tell ya.
i grew out lemon larry from swerve, it blew my fuckin head off.No one wants to know...

I guess I can post some of my BCBD Blueberry IBL (reg)..

My plants are still in veg but when I shifted the light to sex them a while back, a few of the pre-flowers ripened.

From what I can see: There is plenty of resins, so these are NOT shit/ditch/hemp weeds. Good.. The Pre-flowers smell very fruity and very much like how I remember the majority of BlueBerry Phenos, some are fruity, and occasionally, you will get that awesome and perfect pheno of "BlueBerry Muffin" from those "Sweet, Blue Fruit" phenos. Again, good..

Pre-Flowers:

1-Gallon root-ball: Coco + perlite.

I have 4 females at about 1.5 weeks of bloom from the pack of 12 seeds they sent me, 2 were males, and I planted 6. I have not checked every female but one of the easy-access females smells like BlueBerry Pie.. fuckin' lovin' it..

Keep us updated on the blueberry!! I've talked to the owner and he seems like a stand-up dude. Not sure how he has such a bad rep here.

I grew their BB about 10 years ago or so outside and inside. Inside I didn't care for it that much, too much stretch and not as potent as I wished. I gave a friend a clone of this same plant and it was hands down one of the tastiest and darkest outdoor plants I've seen with a very early and big harvest. Without growing lots of seeds of any strain I agree with what is said above, it's hard to judge. I just wanted to point out that even the same plant (as in the the same plant from the same single seed) can have variance based on environment. If I had only seen it indoors I'd give it a thumbs down compared to other BB, but if I had only seen it outdoors I'd give it a 5 star rating.

Sorry about the pic quality, it is a bowl I had packed for lunch. Its their BB, a pheno selected for outdoors and is from the '14 season. Flavor is amazing. The acidic, slightly sour BB flavor and burned it smells like BB soda. The high is all BB, this pheno wasn't the strongest potency wise but was selected for OD and flavor and yield, as I live in the north, so plants gots to be hardy.

I'll drag up some of the indoor phenos pics at some point, some serious gold to be found, surprisingly in these here seed lines.

The OD BB was hit with Haze pollen, and that is a very good cross and oddly pretty uniform plants. Smoked that this morning and wowza, soaring ripped. Nice.
