Bloody back is the bane of my existence too, I think I need another adjustment this week to help everything in the lumbar stay in the right place where it should be.
Hope you feel better in the morning bro and the spasms have stopped.

I'm still gimping around like a 90 yr old but that crazy pain has subsided somewhat, no wicked spasms since waking up this afternoon, with a little luck I'll be able to begin traction on Friday.

Hey Stoner, have you tried topical oils or salves? I don't remember if we've talked about it before. I'm a wreck musculoskeletally - 3 lumbar and 4 cervical disc herniations with nearly constant cervicogenic headaches and 8 surgeries putting my arms and shoulders back together. I have been having great luck with oils and everyone that I have given some to raves about it. The last couple of batches, I have used coconut oil, and it seems to work even better. It is great of any kind of spasms or joint problem. If you have any interest in how I make it, holler back. There is some information on here about it, but not a great deal. Also, yoga helps more than I ever would have believed, but you have to get to where you can move before you can practice! Hope you feel better.

well spasms had me vaulting out of bed yet again this morning, my left leg was lit up like the Rockefeller center christmas tree and nothing would help it to settle down, I've contacted a witch doctor in Haiti and now look forward to my first appointment.......

sure, why not rives.......

EDIT:
now I'm gonna lay down and hope to catch an hour or two nap to make up for the loss of sleep earlier, frustrated by the pain and constantly being kept tired by the lack of a full nights sleep keeps my mental state at odds to helping me heal.

Damn bruz you are in my prayers to the Back Gods
I know and understand the pain and spasms (to a degree) that are plaguing you mate and I wish I could point you in the right direction for relief
I'm finally getting my lumbar adjusted back into place tomorrow :jump: bloody christmas shopping has kept me broke ass
Once I grow enough herb I'm going to try making up a salve or ointment rub to use on my lumbar and legs
Not sure if you can get this in the states but here down under there is a product called Elmore Oil with Tea Tree and Eucalyptus in it and I swear it's bloody awesome and it helps to keep the pain at a manageable level especially whilst in bed, a quick google/scroogle search will give you the aussie website bro, who knows it might be available in the USA or I'm sure they can ship to you, costs about $30aud for a 250ml bottle.

I just got over 4 days of living hell, nerve pain so bad it made me puke. all of this coming on with our first actual cold snap of the season and caused by back spasms triggering femoral nerve pain, it would wake me like I was being stabbed in my legs w/red hot daggers.

along with the nerve pain came a deep funk, depression regarding the state of my health caused by these back issues.

thankfully this morning after waking I could feel a certain tension in my spine so I sat in my favorite chair and gave my back a twist, for a split second the pain was excruciating as that nerve was shifted one more time, this time a vertebrae went *POP!* and right then I knew relief was mine.

I actually feel so good right now I'm going to a local saloon for a burger.......

alot of people get back troubles because they dont stretch when they wake up and before they do strenuous work,,

i gave myself problems from just jumping out of bed to go do work without thinking,

my troubles came from an accident @ work, unbeknownst to me I already had severe arthritis of the spine, the accident (falling into a hole in the dark) exacerbated the condition of my spinal issues. I was working that heavy labor job w/my bad spine until the accident happened & was booking overtime every week as well. without a doubt I'd used n' abused my back to some degree over the years.

I'm so happy to be able to sit upright and watch football today.......

I got lucky today, my back blew out because I did wings for the Super Bowl, too much up & down, too much time @ the stove/fryer etc. Yesterday I was gimping around like a half crippled 90 yr old, no amount of top grade weed could help where I was @. I went to bed moaning but also having taken 4 Aleve tablets & 4 Bayer aspirin, this combination has saved me from extreme neck/shoulder pain in the past but it's tough on the stomach and can't be taken regularly, 2 Ambien CR capped off my meds and when I woke in just the usual pain it was sweet relief.......

thnx DD, I'm having 1 good day, 1 bad, back n' forth right now. got the femoral nerve in my right leg just screaming from sitting, but that's OK since I need some sleep anyway laying down might do me doubly good. That bed must be comfy as hell, my springer spaniel is on my pillows just snoring away.......
