Pretty slow here,
The years been funny for flowering then revegin and repeat.. little growth. I will keep planting though. Hope everyone's year is going a little better. Losing my mate this year took the steam out of me. Been getting hurt a little more often then I usually do. Needing to clean my slate.

i was just reading through a few old posts from last year , well the year before now , and i see our old mate sticky sat is gone as well . a few have dropped off with no word at all .
i hope they are all ok .
we had 25ml of rain just now and the first year in maybe 35 years i have bugger all in , talk about frustrating .. i started a few of aces golden tiger and one nepal jam which , though very late , are looking maybe ok . i guess i'll see how they mature being in this cooler-shorter climate . i'm damn near out of choof and thats never happened before and i simply refuse to buy it . last lot i bought was early 80's and it was some very delightful buddha which was probably some of the very last of the opiumated stuff getting around !
well thats my lean on things for 2021 .. time for a chivas and ice !

he is fine ,, just his situation lately with internet access and computer access makes it hard for him to be part of forums ,
the rain is getting the better of him at the moment ..
none of that imported thai had any opium on it though ,
it was just straight out good weed ,
opium would have in fact had a negative effect ,

we suspect the high was different to fresh weed due to both a long cure and a slight sweat cure like what the malawi cob cure underwent,
sure was good stuff indeed , i remember it well ..

Happy New Year's guys. Hope everyone is getting some down time and staying away from the Northern Beaches!
Started testing some beans to see how germ rates are going. I've got a hell of a lot of variety that I've stored poorly and am now paying for it.
Some are sprouting, most not, some tails appear and stall, it's hit and miss. All the duds are going in the worm compost bin as a last resort. I'm trying a surfactant on soak, scarifying, weak seasol gold etc. All the trouble to get stuff sent out and a heap of cash and it's a shit show.

Hello All ... here's one of Wal's Z99. Just begun to show flowers. Very vigorous variety. (This season's grasshoppers have just begun to hatch. Damn!)
Yes seems like its a one way exit door all it takes is one person with a grudge plenty of friends though.
Still its good to see you are doing ok and have a presence here. I hope all is well in your life and you are onto bigger and better things brother.

yea its not a great rule at all that one, in all other dealings in all other things a majority rules , its for good reason ,
especially since there is always 1 jealous and vindictive person like the one we are talking about in every walk of life..
oh well their loss i guess tang...
i was there in the spirit of sharing , like the site is for, and i have a lot to share ,

Ask Donald Mallard about this variety (Z99) because he knows the Breeder ... and he knows about Asian varieties also.
