I was wondering when the terrorists out there would figure out a box of matches is more powerful than a bomb.
Am I the only one who thinks its been done on purpose?

if thats so ,
the government are in league with them also ,
they not only cut 200 million dollars from fire services in the last 4 years ,
they have been offered outside help on several occasions and refused it ...
despite that map rod shared , and the loss of life , property , bush and animals ,
the government seem to think they have it in hand ,
when it is clearly out of control and only getting worse ,


these guys are going to have to go down as by far the worst government Australia has ever seen ,
but the voters are stupid enough to likely vote fools like this back into power ,

Got all my basic needs met at the moment. From what I hear at the moment it's completely burnt out and trees fallen over everywhere, so there is no access to check if I have a house. I won't get home until Thursday/Friday to start the cleanup. Will send you a photo when I do. Sounds pretty fucked up though. Irrigation will be fucked, so the crop is done for. Gonna be a tough year, but keep on plugging on I guess. No goddamn sissy fire will keep me outa the bush though. Peace and thanks for the offers of help. Am fine for now. Got temp accommodation and a bit of cash. Gonna figure it out. Can't make an assessment until I get home. I'll know about my house tomorrow and let ya know. I have very low expectations.

Early reports are our house is still standing. So that is some very weird but good news. Water is definitely out and tank melted, so it will be a while until I can replant anything. I think all the cover will be gone also. The whole block burnt though from what I hear. Waiting on some photos. But a bit of good news. Not everyone was so lucky however.
