Hey thanks bb ,
i think eb has been banned from his one of his other trolling haunts recently and feels the need to spread his hate elsewhere instead ,
sadly its here where we all usually chill and enjoy weed discussion ,

i wont enter into his childish nonsense any further ,
and might have to suggest to gn we get a new moderator for this forum
eb doesnt do well with moderated forums typically ...

teddy as i mentioned earlier that i think you were just looking at your own position when you mentioned my poor sight earlier ,

a bunch of pensioners live in poverty , no not you ,,

but others do as i said ,
here is the information i mentioned ,
i wasnt looking at things from a poor perspective ,

Australia was ranked second lowest on social equity, with 36 per cent of pensioners living below the poverty line, which the report defined as half the relevant country's median household income.
Australian pensioners fared better than their counterparts in South Korea, where 50 per cent live below the poverty line but performed poorly against the OECD average of 12.6 per cent.

Nice you got some rain. It's all a bloody heatwave further south :) Lots of dry and hot ahead. Hope those in the hottest parts of the country can find some shade for their plants in the coming days! Some folks have high 40s ahead. I've seen that sort of weather crisp healthy plants out of existence.

all in all pumpkin , it has been said that Australian are the most efficient farmers in the world !
that doesn't mean grain , sheep ,or wool farmers exclusively .
that also includes us , as over a long period of time and without the benefit of scientific input , to a degree , we have all adapted to harsh australian conditions .
knowingly or subconsciously we adapt !
i have always grown in dry , hot conditions and have done it well though sometimes it's been a real battle to record a positive result .
this year though i think we're all brothers in this very long and protracted drought so i was just wondering whether someone could spot me a hundred ! pay ya back next pay day ... lol

Australia may have the most efficient farmers, but also the farmers who complain about the weather the most :D Me included.

thankfully we get some relief once the rain begins here ,
its fairly late , should have come a lot sooner ,
i dont envy you guys where it will be dry and in the 40s soon thats for sure ,
as rod says it will test the skill of all the farmers ,, gunja farmers included ,
hope everyone comes out of it ok ..

Rod58, I used to be a very chemical free person, wouldn't swat a fly. Was organic 100 percent. I guess I sold out to an extent, but if I can't do my job, i can't pay the mortgage. It's weird how I've changed. But I still protect the rest of the forest and habitat for wildlife. There is only one section that I am a bit brutal with. If you risk my crop, you got'a get out or die. Horrible attitude I know, but i use a small section of the forest where i only had to fell three trees. That is the space this human needs to occupy to subsist. It's a tricky balance, selfish needs and environmental ones. But if your are a catapiller you are dead, and if you are a possum i'll electricut you. 10 years ago i never would have said that, but we live in a system that encourages that. We are forced to have money, and to have money is to have environment impact. It's a lose lose situation. But nonetheless it is the situation we are in.

Maybe i'll swing the other way again eventually. Fuck knows, i'm pretty drunk. But I just want to grow perfect medicine, and white ants are really not good partners in that activity. They got plenty of biomass elsewhere. Heal humans by killing ants... probably not my most noble decision in life. I think being conscious of your decisions is a start. But I'm not full hippie anymore. Practically got in the way.
