Not trying to burst your bubble but TW can never be an IBL as it's clone only basically. Some people somewhere are holding some seeds though. TW bagseed is from a hermie or got pollinated by something else. I know there is at least one TW cut going around that hermies very easily. If the girl you got didn't hermie, even under heat stress, that's a good thing.

for sure but does it look hybridisied(sp?) cuz it deff took alot of heat stress one day and burnt all the fan leaves off that were directally under the light yet no male flowers and im sure the bag i got was TW and these nuggets look like TW and taste like TW

im just wondering if i should call it TW or somthing else so i dont ruin the name of the original cut

call it the buckeye cut! haha- some cuts of tw are known to hermie. The arcata cut shouldnt and is an IBL. I've got the stable one that doesn't hermie in seed form. There is some slight variation though. SOme most- grow in the traditional creeper vine like way. Another one grows straight up in single colas. I'll try to post some pics one of these days.

Heres a few pics of my first and long waited Arcata T.W grow, 1 plant is 51days,,the other is35days...these girls were veged quite a long time,,i used fish line and hooks to support them,,these girls have more support then a A.A group.next time i might scrog her,, DR.g them are some nice pics,,,they look very simaliar to mine,,ill probaly go 65 days,,thanks H&L great thread you started, hope ya dont mind me posting a few pics,,

Nice pics- look like they'll turn out great.

And the straight up cola is a rarer version. I had to start like 20 something seeds to find it. the trainwreck guy tipped me off and told me to look for it in the slight variations.

OH and T-DUB is available in one of the arcata clubs i believe for legal patients only of course.

Dr G - that cut should do you proud, the arcata cut here has been home since a xmas gift box in '2004 and yours sure looks like it. Here's a few random pics of the original thing.


































And to those that claim they've toked it & weren't impressed.


If you toked it and the first toke didn't take you into space, then you were fed a line of bullshit. This plant is one-toke action, 4 tokes at a sitting will set you on your butt for most of the day. If you make it through a whole J you will lose the day in a cloud of ozone. And don't take my word for it, take everyone's that has toked it with me, and those that have toked her prodigy in other towns - the feedback is the same; everyone swears it was treated pot and have never smoked anything close to it.

When she starts to flower look for a blue-grey shade to the fans, and she is the only plant I grow that spits out trichs on the fans and stems. She turns silver-blue and looks like an alien plant in her later flowering time, take her to 72 days and you will have the greatest toke in your life. Her colas will double in size and weight in her last 3 weeks.

Keep us posted on the progress of these, it will be an interesting trip.

just hit day 25. have been told tw is ready 45-50 days... but was planning on taking mine 55 to 60. i bet 72 would be an insane high... but not sure i want it too crazy. whats your experience as tw growers?

also - was wondering what my girls looked like for Day 25 of flower.... just looked at jimi's post and saw he had one @ day 25 too - looks pretty similar to me. switched to tomato cages about 2 weeks ago - tried to even my canopy by swingin the long branches over to nearby cages.

,,i dont know why that pic looks like crap...i had to go look and make sure it wasnt ,the other leaves look great,a few starting to turn yellow,,But i did have a problem whith white powder midew my last grow,,from an o.g cut,,and it did spread to the t.w..so i think t.w is susceptable,,to powder midew,,the only plant in my room that was resistent to mildew was Bubba Kush,I seen what Mark used in a diferent thread, Advance nutereints Penatrator and zone for P.M, so i used it and had no problems yet,,.powder mildew,,can be a real pain in the ass.. hey Kovenant,,yeah they look very close at 25days,,i love your set up,,nice room you got,,1 toke nice pics,,i sampled some at 45 days,,great buzz(WOW) impressed,,i would like her to go 65or70days,,the trichs already looked prety cloudy on day 45,cant wait to see what they look like on 70..ill try take some beter pics before harvest....{Jimi)---;;;>

Yes t-dub is EXTREMELY powder mildew susecptable. It is one of the main culprits in spreading pm to other gardens when people buy cuts of it and don't treat it for pm. Its horrible.

And yes the good newz is that "DUTCH MASTER" not advanced has two products -penetrater (a surfactent on steriods) and zone ( a waste water treatment form of chlorine) when used together can completely eliminate pm.

I suggest dipping/dunking though as if you spray pm, just like those borgs ,with find nooks and cranneys to hide (such as inner stem side of the bud) So dipping is preferable.
