Just curious zeez has the medium of that plant stayed damp or wet the whole time?

It is on a timer system now but it was hand watered much of it's life. The greenhouse is so full it would cause damage hand watering at this point. I use premium bag soil and they never gets dry to the point of wilting. On the previous page there is a pic of the whole grow. All have the same soil and same watering regiment.

Check out the flower.

Not that I have posted much in this thread, I've been a lurker more than a poster but I have been following the thread for a while....

.....for the past 2 weeks or so tho I kinda lost all interest in doing my daily check of this thread and the icm forums in general, since russet/hemp mites started to infest my plants I was stressing & feeling low about the situation and just didn't want to see or read about anything cannabis related.

This is my first time dealing with mites and a situation where I could potentially end with nothing to harvest and I'm on a tight budget and didn't have a lot of $ to work with to do something about it.....But long story short, I seem to have the situation under control at this point (as of the past 5 days) and I have buds swelling up & frosting up more each day.

So it looks like I'll still have something to harvest this fall.

I was super stressed and worried and feeling pretty low about it tho at first...It was like a giant kick to the nuts in so many different ways.

It's definitely been a lesson learned too. I'll have a proper pest management regimen next time around. I learned quite a bit about mites and potential solutions after this whole ordeal.

Hi everyone, l hope you’re all well.
Organilush, I’m feeling your pain; I’ve been dealing with a terrible leaf spot disease here and l’ve experimented with a few different IPMs. One l was particularly excited about was a chlorine foliar that l sprayed in flower and worked out the ratios to take the plant to brown pistil stage; l also tank mixed with sulphur and gave the ratios for that as part of my research.
It wasn’t particularly successful for the application l hypothesised but l thought it might be a good knock down for small sucking insects, such as mites.
I posted all the information up in the “Local Materials” thread.
There was no information on the interweb regarding pest control and very little on fungal control. There was no information, or guidelines, as to weather this was or was not an organic treatment so, as far as I’m concerned, it’s ground breaking research.
Might be a cheep solution (pardon the pun) and worth a try.
Cheers,
40.

Zeez i was only mentioning water because one time i had a plant that was never a big drinker, and the pot seemed to stay damp for long periods at a time which it resulted in a lime green plant similar to yours....

but after seeing that early bud structure she looks almost like it cant form flowers. Must be a genetic fuckery of a plant... Somethings totally wonky!!

Organilush- Im glad you pulled through the mite issue and came out on the other side okay. I also hope this community still has some of its luster that it once had, any keep some of the older members to help newer ones learn from their trials and tribulations... What did you use to deal with the issue?

hey there brother, i too know how you feel
especially after all that hard work, effort, time and costs

my first year grow, did 4 plants indoor...
they did good.....but lost almost all of it , 9 ozs to mold
when i tried curing in jars....hard lesson
useless...experts say ditch it, mold is not healthy to smoke

then my second season grow, i brought an outdoor plant inside
decontaminated the bugs off it first, (so i thought)
ended up with a severe case of white fly manifesting itself
took a year to get rid of.....struggled with it...
from another 4 plants, i got 2 ozs.....another kick in the ball sack

so i hear ya, feel for ya too.....
this year im doing much better, and expect a good harvest
i got plants indoor at home, and some outdoor at parents place
so aside from getting ripped off, i should be good

my best advise, take it on the chin, -learn from it!!
dust off, and as the saying goes: rub dirt in it cowboy,
and carry on.....like i did

even if the bugs take you out....no biggie
there's always next year....right
it happens....even to the most experienced growers

me im new at it, didnt start growing anything till it was legal
so this is my 3rd season now....and i think im on top of it
but could be wrong....

keep at it, and you will get there, my friend
have faith in yourself...

Sativa's often need a lot less water and they like to dry out. Try cutting the water for a while and see what happens.
In my experience 9 out 10 times people's problems are due to over watering especially outdoors. Better to see the wilt just start to happen before watering then to keep them topped up all the time.

I'll give it a try. Thanks. Real surprise that one pheno could so far over on the sativa side.

Boreal Curing
I haven't seen an airplane over my area since last year. This morning I've seen 3 in one hour. All with the same heading but about 1km apart. Nice wide coverage.

Busts are up all over the place here. 15k plants, 5k plants, lots of 1k plant grows, 110 lbs of oil, it just goes on and on. Even the natives on reserves are getting hit.

Maybe you can look them up on flightaware. If they fly out of an airport nearby maybe you can check out the plane for any special camera mounts. The C number can also be looked up.

Can't help but wonder if a grower has ever created a small fire as a diversionary tactic.
