Hi Lizard. Thanks. I was told they're hard to sex and it was. There were zero internodal signs. I couldn't tell until I saw the little emerging pine cone on the top cola. It's in a 20 gallon pot so I pulled it out of my yard and move it to an old gorilla spot away from everything.

Definitely not a typical cannabis male. The pollen sacs are stacked like buds and as big or bigger than golf balls. They're very dense so I'm a little worried about mold. So dense I'm tempted to smoke one. :D But it should be easy to collect the pollen. I'll start collecting it next weekend. It's a pretty big plant so I should get lots. I'll take a few clones and save him just because.

Since it's far away from everything else I'll let him go through senescence and document it until it freezes over.

Awesome! I've never smoked a male before. Don't feel like i need to. a stem rub and visible resin production works well enough.... Also i don't want to use up pollen sacks to smoke if i like enough to want the pollen haha... Im interested in the females and the density of their flowers when time comes.

I said tempted. lol

I'm not much of a smoker. I pretty much only smoke to test something. I look for effect as opposed to potency. My days of getting blasted and fucked up are far behind me.

Hopeful for a dry finish ... Bud ...:jump:
Things are going well down at the hideout..

The hurricane that just wiped the Gulf coast was almost 500 mile south of me,
but the tracking showed it was gonna come up where i live and I was right in the path..

I went out and tied dozens and dozens of branches up to the stalk or the steel stake i always put by each plant..

Then i took more spools of twine and just wrapped 'em around and around on each of my plants..

The remnants of the hurricane hit me 2 nights ago just as it was getting dark outside.
The next morning my buckets showed me I got almost 4 1/2 inches of pounding rain in about 6 hours..
The NOAA weather page showed me out winds were at 38 mph..

I lucked out.. all the twine I use helped and I had no broken branches..
Yesterday morning I checked and they were all happy.
Went out today and took a few pictures...

Now if I can just keep 'em looking this good for about 5 more weeks....

Bud at the hideout, checking out the buds..

almost every plant there is lst trained pretty hard, so they look smaller than they are. but the lower branches are really stretching as a result. i direct planted most of them around the 12th of june, after a 3 day paper towel soak. i pulled the male a few days ago. and i'm only keeping seeds from the early mold proof plants.

I am trying to keep her as tame as possible, lol. If I hadn't done this, she would be as wide as she is tall and I would have no patio left. I'd have to build a tree house in this bitch to enjoy my deck , lol.
