Tops are going to start getting heavy pretty soon.

I could spend eight hours every day up there right now just staking and supporting ...Wrapping and netting ...that would be the only way to secure them properly but I am unable to do that

With one helper you could just unroll trellis net and drape it over the whole thing and they will hold each other up.

edit;

I'm thinking you could maybe do it yourself (one good arm) if you could roll the trellis netting up on one of those long stakes and tie the stake ends to a broom handle. Like a big TP roller. Then pull it over the crop unrolling it..

Just trying to help with some solution.

That feeling when you start spotting gophers pulling plants down into the ground only 12 feet away from your big plants.......

I saw a gopher munching on a random weed this morning while watering the yard/garden and it was pretty close to my plants that are in the ground and I can tell its tunnel splits off in the direction of my big plants. Has me all concerned lol. I've been aware of the gophers around my yard but took the risk anyway with out any root protection. I actually haven't seen any gopher activity for a while since spring but as of the past 2 weeks or so I've spotted 1 maybe 2 of em' munching on roots of grass or weeds.

My plants are pretty big, stalks as big or bigger than a soda can in diameter and 6ft tall and 7ft wide canopy....But if the gopher follows the roots up the the base of the stalk then it's game over.

Have any of ya'll seen or heard about gophers (california pocket gopher) taking out large mature cannabis plants before? I imagine they could, but from what I've seen over the years it seems like gophers stick to eating the roots of mostly young/small developing plants.

Meanwhile in Cornwall...

Funny weather I've been having, hot humid, sun, sea mist (50m visibility), rain.

The plants are doing well though, some lime green tips probably due to all the rain, because of this I've topped dressed the whole site this morning with about 6oz Fish, blood & bone rather than a liquid feed. Some minor insect damage but nothing to worry about. Everything got a final spray of a neem/fungicide/insecticide concoction.

Oh and the regular plants GB and super#61 are female too so although I won't get any seeds I should have a nice selection come harvest.
