I will be following your grow brother and thanks for the kind words back.:tiphat:

Thanks for the kind words, I always enjoy and appreciate when the guys who've been around the block a few times chime in and offer words of wisdom. Much respect to the older guerrillas. :tiphat: Hoping that eventually there will be some changes where I live and a legal indoor grow will be possible for me. I love Indicas, particularly Afghani's. They don't do too well out in the bush though, mold wrecks them in fall.

I totally relate to the worries of injuries out bush. Always keep a phone on me just in case, but that is turned off and stowed in a faraday bag. You're totally right about the entrance/exit strategies. Basically I find the most pain in the ass way (usually by water) to get in and out and never leave a footprint. So far has worked well (knocks on wood.) My mountain bike is my favorite growing tool... It's light, fast, quiet, and can go places most vehicles can't. And yes, way too many good stories to tell and more are made each season. Really keeps me on my toes.

:tiphat: wishing you and your family well.

I laughed so hard beer came out my nose.

Yeah weed is definitely second place.. It's not until my recent move and while exploring that I thought, hey I could grow weed here.

My youngest daughter walked into the greenhouse the other day and said "anything suspicious in here", I said "what do you mean??", she replied "courgette flowers".. I think she heard mum say this at some point.

Killing it brother. Your greenhouse thread is always a envy.

2lb/plant whats the container size?

So i know this is light depp and not really outdoor. But i figured it would be nice to see some sun grown flowering plants a little early. These are about a month into flowering. I'm guessing they are around 2lb plants. Usually i keep them way smaller and run more in a greenhouse that size but i had to do something with those overgrown plants.

They are only 20 gallon pots. It's kind of drain to waste hydro. Soiless mix. Feed 2x a day. Might have to bump up to 3x. Can't really do it in pots that size organic.

My full term outdoor is always water only organic. I'm building 100 yards of soil tomorrow. I will probably share whatever mix i get. I build from scratch from bulk material. Nothing bagged. Bagged quality though. I'm going to try for about 80$ a yard.

100 yards... That's huge!

DUDE!!!! I am still chasing the original endless sky from Dr green thumb ( never to be found again) and jay sprout at UDG had a strain called AK99 X Friesland. Both were killer strains and done by 2nd week in September. Endless sky was a thumper!!! Still the most potent plant I ever smoked.

Fyi- Seeds for Endless Sky are available on the Dr’s website.

What's in your recipe this year? Last year I based my mix on an old one you had posted and it killed!:tiphat:

Hey brother, you are correct they are on the website but not the same genetics anymore. That’s what the word on the street is and has been for a few years. Much appreciated though.

My Garden on 6/13. The weed was germinated at the beginning of April. First attempt at SCROG. Seeds are feminized from ILGM.

14 out of 15 Germinated, one was deformed and had no apical meristem.

Of the 15 I have potted up 2 Afghani, 1 Bergman Gold Leaf and 1 Durban Poison.

Two Durban Poison have gone in the ground for SCROGGING. The remainder were put in 4" nursery pots for backups.

Just wanna throw an idea out here for some input from you guys.

So the anemic seedling I posted pulled though (Auto amnesia).. And I also have another purple maroc, both were for the fourth hole at my guerilla site.

Seems a shame to waste a known female plant (the other three holes are taken), I can't be arsed with digging another hole in the rock and was think of sticking one of them in an above ground "container".

I've got a couple of options all working with the supplies I've got left.

#1 old compost bag wrapped in chicken wire with about 20l of a very cheapo mix consisting of cheap compost, sand & FBB.

#2 chicken wire lined with hessian material filled with the same mix as above.

Am I missing a third option?

Also not sure what plant to stick in this... My thoughts are that the auto amnesia gets the big fourth hole, I've seen some great grows from these freebies seeds and I like variety, it's also about a week ahead of the second PM and should be finished at the latest mid September. Then the PM in the above ground container can be the mom for any pollen I may get from the Super#61 or Early Grape Berry.

After writing that out I seem to have convinced myself... Just not sure what they best pot/container would be. I can't take a rigid pot of that size up there or more than 20-30litres of soil*

*I've already had to explain/lie where 300+litres of soil went..

PM in a fabric pot. they fold up small, great on their own, roots can grow through into soil below.

bunch of good seeds way too valuable to forego. PM FTW

I guess I'm my main concern is how much water I my need to transport up there with the fabric pot.. I think I've got around 10lites on site and can realistically get them all 4litres per visit.... Say twice a week, three times at a push in the dry weeks.

Seeds are what it's all about though and I do have a PM in the a big hole already.

Lol all this worrying and I got a funny feeling when I'm there next one of the main crop is gonna be fucked (we had a LOT of rain this morning) that I'll be swapping out somthing.

Let's hope PM and either EGB or Super#61 is a cross for next season... Maybe I'll just get all ladies.. Never been that lucky when I wanted it, now I'm gunning for a dude bet it happens.

When I have them in a spot that lacks water, I ALWAYS carry in pre-hydrated Soil Moist in a jug. If you don't pre-hydrate them and put too much, it'll push your plant out of the ground if it rains hard. If you're going to use it dry, a tablespoon is lots.

I had to pull the plug this year and tear out my plants. The owner of the woods are using heavy equipment to clear paths through the woods because they are planning on selling the property to someone who is big on hunting. I hope to buy this land one day but I just don't have the money.

Good look for the male Big Eggy!

How's weather at your place? Here people growing in terraces, where it gets scorching hot, use cheap polistyrene "beach icebox" as pots.

Mix that with hydrogel salts as Tycho advised and you can reduce water usage... pick a plant that is known to drink little...

This one is 25L. And carrying an icebox? No big deal.

I've seen these for 3,5€.

Thanks repuk. That's genius. I have a couple camping coolers with broken lids/handles that I'll use for my patio tomatoes. It get so hot I have to water them 2 and sometimes 3 times a day.

I have about 40 tomato plants in the garden, but I like the convenience of having that magical fruit close to the breakfast table. lol
