@slowandeasy I'm only offended by people I respect and know what they are talking about. Let's see what you got.

alot of foxtailing going on there. do you think its due to high N late in flower from a one part fert? or is that genetic?

That type of foxtailing doesn't happen because of high N ferts. What's in his picture is a natural swelling of the calyx. What happens with light stress or N excess, is a stem elongation which protrudes from the bud. If you've got an excess of nitrogen in the flowering period you'll tell by other things. The leaf to bud ratio will be high, the leaves will be thick. Just the general look of the plant won't be right and you'll know it right away.

The leaf:bud ratio of IC's buds looks good.

No offense, but those buds look horrible! Look likes they are burnt and possibly has bud rot.. I have a sample of Dirty, not sure if I will use it... those buds look dirty. I would not brag about any plant that looks like that, I hope it is bad lighting

You're either joking, or haven't got a clue what you're talking about

Have a look here

You can't get a much better flower to leaf ratio or general appearance than some of the plants in that thread. That's a harvest which only a fool would not see the quality of.

Actually that Foxtailing usually comes from high levels of Co2 at the end of the plants life. I cut off all Co2 12 days from harvest and it prevents that.

No co2 in this room. My airconditioner was leaking refrigerant and I had some 85+ days on the end of the run. The strain tends to foxtail easily if conditions aren't ideal. what a bitch lol Buds were still top notch, stoney, and sugar covered.

There's nothing wrong with foxtailing as a genetic trait in cannabis. What you're essentially talking about is the growth of calyxes; in other words, bud. That's what you're left with when the water evaporates.

There's a big difference between foxtailing and elongation because of heat/light/nutrient stress. That's not what's happening in those pictures.

The picture I referred to does not look good...at all. Maybe it is the lighting, like I said before. I would not post a pic that looked like that, even if it was just the lighting.
Thanks for giving me a bunch of neg reps....asshole. You are obviously part of the SPAM crew in this thread...my guess your real name is Chris.

No, there's really not. And i agree, there is nothing wrong with it.

First of all, I'll neg rep any post which shouldn't be listened to. I marked that post down because it was a load of shit. It's a good picture of an obviously nice looking bud. The fella clearly knows what he's doing and you clearly don't know what a well grown flower looks like.

That's the only neg you got from me "asshole".
Where your "bunch" of neg reps came from I haven't got a clue. Obviously I'm not the only one who thinks you talk some shit.

There's a way to critique posts and there's a way to critique someone's growing, and that's not it. Not in my opinion anyway. That's really not anyone's problem except yours. Your opinion is noted.

The thing is, when you jump in balls first like that, it makes people see what you can do, and from the evidence of your own grows, you'd do well to listen more, pay more attention to what people like IC are doing, and talking less.

I don't think IC's buds are perfect. There's a bit of tip burn so clearly the nutes were a bit high. I'd also have flushed differently to how he has. But these are incremental things. Small changes to make to get things that bit better still. They don't qualify as "horrible". At all.

He's got pretty much the same amount of tip burn as you had on your LED grow, only you didn't have anywhere near the density on your buds that he's got to justify it.

Take care.

You are a liar, you negrepped me on other posts....it says your name idiot. Also, if you look at my LED pics my my Cheesequake is properly flushed and has only slight tip burn. That LED is only 200 watts. The density of plants is strain dependent as well. My SSSDH under the same LED were as big and dense as IC buds plants....under a little 200 watt LED. His plants are under a lot more intense lighting. His plants are obviously not flushed properly and have too much N.

FWIW, you are right...I should not of said the word horrible, Im sorry IC. I have stated 3 times that maybe the lighting is making it look worse. If the HID light is on, it obviously will not look the same. If the HID is off in that pic, something is wrong with that plant.

Btw Chris, I have used the RO version, and posted some comments. I was very impressed, The buds were as dense or more than my normal nutes, smelled, and looked great. The difference was near the end, the V+B had too much N...It did not flush as good but it was not horrible. I only used it once, but bought more and you sent me a sample of the Dirty. I am going to do a side by side with your RO version an the Dirty. I will post the pics for everyone and will start a thread. I will use 2 Rugburn OG clones, and will clip them tonight...and use your nutes from start to finish and flowering time will be 10 weeks.

First of all, point me to this "bunch" of posts.

Secondly, who the fuck are you to cry about message board etiquette when you go around calling people asshole, idiot, and telling them their buds look like shit? :D

Sort your head out mate.

You're right, you shouldn't have said his buds look horrible. Not because it's not nice - we're all grown fellas and really I doubt he's that bothered tbh - but because it makes you look like you don't know wtf you're talking about.

There's nothing "wrong with that plant" whether the HID is on or off.
Drop it and move on.

I'll be interested to see how it works out for you. I've had excellent luck with the RO - it suits my water very well.

I think that there is a bit of a compromise at the end due to the one-part nature of V+B. Since there is no way to reduce the N, you can either leave a little growth on the table by starting the flush a little earlier than you otherwise could, or not have it flushed the way you like as a result of keeping the feed rate up longer in order to optimize the growth. For me, there isn't enough difference to worry about so I take the route of possibly losing a little weight. There are always ramifications from our choices, but for me the convenience of V+B outweighs the potential gain from being able to tailor various levels within the nutrient mix along the way.

Because Chris can't take criticism....and neg reps for someone's opinion. Obviously we all know by now that he has multiple screen names. But I will still do my side by side......
