came in a white bottle about 200grams handwritten label. I called and was told it has phosphonic acids? crab shell extracts, beeswax extracts, and plant cuticle waxes? and of course the "proprietary" bull shit. ph is 5.8 when I hit 2 grams per gallon. smells like roses
I definitely gained some grams running it. I'm going to run it at 5-7 weeks next time

Giving THE DIRTY, another shot since we had 5lbs of it left over. Major yellowing still at week 3.5 right now. Kicked it up to 1100ppm from 750 and will see what happens. Growth is fairly decent though. Def some lack of Cal Mag in the product for sure.

I would bet my farm that Paclobutrazol was used on that plant. It's not a bad thing, tons of commercial growers use it but keep it on the down low.

If you used the +size on this last run, why would you not say anything about it until now? Look, I was really interested in trying this stuff out, but this marketing is just crazy... I, for one, will be going a 'different route'.

I'll try canna coco. Is gold label widely available I would be interested in the pricing for bulk.
Carvag, you just need to raise your EC if you see any yellowing. I run about 12 strains and haven't found one yet that needs more CA or MG with the dirty, maybe it's your water or soil?
I got my sample of +SIZE on November 25 and ran it for only last 10 days but hooooolllllly shit my tops blew up and the smells are crazy.
I don't care which route people choose it doesn't change the fact that veg+Bloom has changed my game. good luck

Nah man, we kicked it all the way up to 1400ppm and still yellowing. You are either completely full of shit, a shill for the company like everyone seems to say about you or we have gotten a very bad batch of this stuff. Sorry but you shouldn't have to run 1400ppm in pure coco when feeding daily of any nutrient! Now we are getting lock out and switching over to another 1 part nute to hopefully turn these plants around. We are in week 4! plants have lost pretty much all color and are the lightest of yellow and many plants are just getting super weak and falling over.

IC .... looks like the +SIZE caused some pretty serious foxtailing . i haven't seen much of that on your buds before .

Meter is fine. New Bluelab. Tested about every 10 days. This is a commercial grow and we have many rooms.

I've got two Bluelabs, a Truncheon and an EC pen. If you are checking them in calibration solution, they are no doubt fine, but it is a common misconception that they don't need calibration. While the meter itself doesn't drift, the sensor probes can get a film of crap on them that starts really impacting the readings, but in my experience it always goes low. I worked with Bluelab tech support for about 3 weeks trying to get it straightened out because the cleanser that they recommend is not available in my area, and nothing would clean the damn things. They finally sent me some from New Zealand prior to replacing my meter. Also, the pen has a tiny "check mark" on the screen when it thinks that it is in calibration. It is easily missed when looking at the screen because it is at the bottom of the display and really small. Another oddity - when I started using SM90, I found that something about it accelerates the coating process immensely. I can only use the meters for a couple of days before they drift significantly out of calibration, requiring that the sensor face be cleaned and the pen recalibrated (the truncheon can't be recalibrated).

It doesn't sound like any of this applies to your situation, but hopefully it helps someone else. I can't imagine feeding up to an EC of 2.8 - I've never gone over 1.8 with the most demanding gals that I've run.

Yeah...what's the conversion factor your meter is using to go from EC to ppm

my last batch of dirty is not performing as well
top down yellowing - looks like cal/mag def but i'm wondering if its not from too much K
in promix I went up to 900ppm than back down to 750ppm cause at 900 looked worse - im using a .5 conversion factor
haven't gotten girls totally dialed on the dirty yet ....

I thought I'd share my unbiased thoughts, as I too have just received free samples from Chris.

I ordered the sample of the Dirty and to my surprise, he included a second sample of the RO formula. So far he has also answered my questions via email in a timely fashion.

The RO formula will be used on 10 extra plants in 3 gallon pots, 50/50 coco/perlite under 1000W Hortilux Blue bulb.

The Dirty formula is being tested on my veg and mother plants, as well as two plants in my main room that are from the same genetics. The Dirty was mixed into 5 gallons of RO and came out at 1.3-1.4 EC, 6.0ph. I decided to dilute it down to 1.1-1.2 EC and ph'd to 5.6 before watering. So far so good, no residue in the bucket at all.

I haven't mixed the RO formula yet, but I'll update you all when I do.

That was just with the Veg+BLoom Dirty because i dont think it has much available to the plants for some reason. we had to switch to another nute by week 4. plants are looking much better.

Something sounds off to me.
I don't know your grow nor claim too.
But I know if I hit 1400 in any medium with any v&b product there would be problems.
I get nervous if the res' hit 1200 before a top off.

Then again I haven't run any coco with v&b....yet.

Maybe its the V+B in coco. It definitely does NOT do well.

Do you own a side rig that runs something other than coco?
damn shame to not use a 5lb tub.
maybe after this harvey i'll make a seperate res and run a few pots in coco w/ the dirty to see if that's what is up.
good luck bro!

i am in 100% coco and do not go over 1.2EC with the dirty formula and have just pulled off the best tasting harvest yet.

if this is a bad batch of V+B then it would be the second time this has been known to happen right?

did the tub sit around for awhile? i don't buy more than i would use in a two month period because this stuff just doesn't seem to have a shelf life. (maybe this is why all the big boys have large granule size and binding agents so it can sit on a shelf for a year before someone buys it)

also i know, you have a huge commercial setup and run multiple brands of nutes in all kinds of different rooms, ok, but... you started at 1.5EC, ever think that was too high to begin with? and so rising the ppm just made the problem worse? case in point see heads formula in coco.

The new 5lb container of the RO formula seems to be working for me again :yay:

had to be my water here in this place that was messing with the mixing . sense then i set up a 9 stage filtration system to clean it & just had to try it again . i'm glad i did !!

i'll feed 1 rez & 1 tray of it for a full run before i completely switch over to it again full time ..... just in case .

What EC would that translate to?
