any kiss users have exp. with veg+bloom

VB is so easy it makes growing boring. Just sitting around waiting for one of my flower tables to finish so I can move the veg over...

I'm running ebb and flow now and think I might try and switch to drip. Piece of cake, right? :dunno:

I've been running it with blumats and it's almost too easy. I can go weeks without going in my grow room...I know it's not advisable, but you can.

I am having awesome results using v&b. Biggest buds to date. I wish I would have gotten the bigger size, but I don't have much cash when I have needed more. I even found a shop locally that caries it. I saw the sticker and asked dude if they carried it. He said yeah, but advanced is better. I thought to myself better if you like to throw your money away on over priced watered down snake oil.

I bet he did say AN is better....you need to buy a gazillion bottles for a complete line! Lol. My shop tries to push AN too. They must get a helluva kick back

You can bet they keep the v&b out of sight. Meanwhile the h&g canna and advanced have big racks full of overpriced snake oil.

Dan,

I want to convert my 3x3 flood table to drip. What size pump should I use?

gonna need more details ..... how many plants , what size pots , what size light etc ..... but i'm thing a 264gph would be plenty .

for this veg set up i use a 396gph pump & it takes about 2 minutes to get runoff from 18 plants . but i like a slower feeding to fully saturate the pots .

that is exactly right !!!!! feed low in flower & just switch to plain water feeds at the end ! no need to flush unless you've over dosed your plants .

its only been this last year or so that i've been feeding higher in veg than flower to keep the girls happy in veg . before that i was constantly having defs in veg ...... thought it was the nutes lacking something & tried a shit load of different additives ..... but once i started feeding higher (1.4 to 1.6 ) in veg .... all the defs has stopped & the plants are loving life in veg now .
i also keep the feeds that high during the stretch faze of flower , but once budset starts .... i drop to 1.2 ..... some even as low as 1.0

Damn Dan wish I would have seen this earlier switched back to maxibloom for veg and they all greened back up thought it it was missing something too. Going to try the cal mag at 2.5-3ml per gal and bring up the veg+bloom to 1.4-1.6 for veg. Never gone that high for veg with any nutrient so switching over the girls back to the veg+bloom
diet in veg. You keeping the cal mag until day 14 in flower still Dan and then cutting it?

Gotta get more back on these boards been awhile. Also has anyone seen that there going to release the stackswell soon as says it can take the place of cal mag guess well see

Thanks for the solid info dan miss the veg bloom in veg besides the funky defs I was getting:moon:

in veg i can usually get away with one 2 minute feed until the plants get large & the roots are drinking more , then i'll add another feed to it .

no , i keep them around 1.0 or 1.1 , but they're under flouros & i really don't want them growing fast . i just basically keep them in stasis till i need cuts from one or 2 , then i'll throw them in under the CMH & bump the feeds a bit .

Cool!!! Thanks... I'm gonna up pot a few plants in solo cups today to make them my moms. I wacked the shit out of them not to long ago and they are probably root bound and not growing very fast. They definitely need to as Moe Howard would say "SPREAD OUT!!!"

Finally took the plunge and mixed a small res today for testing. Got ro/soft and shine. It's going to be very hard not to use any of these supplements I have gallons of. Already loving that I used half the amount of pH down. I'll be doing Dansbuds EC strategy.

Anyone know how much if any silica, fulvic/humic is in there? Yucca?

Anyone try RO/Soft until halfway then HD?

Most of my grow pals use Veg+ Bloom in coco or rockwool. I got one buddy that ordered a 22 pound bag of Mega Crop all in one. Full profile base fert plus all the goodies. Amino acid chelates. Silica. A little kelp..chitosan. And some other stuff. His planta are doing real nice. Just like HR Veg+ Bloom. And its cheaper than Jacks. 55 bucks or so for 22 POUNDS!!! Iam giving it a try soon.
