I just ordered the sample from Mega Crop. I like using V+B but im hearing Mega Crop is working better for some guys and at a fraction of the cost.
Soon will be trying some myself. By buddys grow looks just about the same as his previous V+B grows. He said its exact same. Dilution grams similar as well. Only difference is its WAY cheaper than V+B. Lets be honest here...at 100 bucks for a 5 pound box...thats not cheap at all. Veg+Bloom 20lbs. = roughly 400$. MegaCrop 22lbs. = 55$. I run a 4800 watt room..a 4000 watt room and about 1200 watts of t5 nursery/mother plant room. I use ALOT of fertilizer and water for a home basement setup. And 22 lbs for 55 bucks (if it performs as stated) would last quite a bit & help me out ($$$).
I ordered some MC also- getting tired of a hundred bucks a pop for the VB. Don't know why that guy has to mark his shit up so high. I think I'm done financing his Ferrari.
I just could never get the V+B dailed.. for me. I gave up on it a long time ago. and all my strains had the same underlined sprite kind of flavor to them and I got sick of that as well. Idk it may just be me. but for the price it was just not worth it. i like good old flora nova with a few additives cheep and easy to tweak. Dans sure makes these guys look good. I bet he sold half their supply lol... they should give you a big ole bucket of the stuff if you ask me.!!

To stretch my RO formula I have been adding a TBS of Dirty and 3 TBS of RO fomula the ph is dead on and it didn't swing a bit... The plants are loving it responding very well... I'm really impressed with how stable it is... after mixing the ph is so close it don't take much to get it right... and it just sits there...

I am going to try the mega crop on a seed run of BOG'S sour grapes. Can't beat the free sample.

I've been having an issue with my RO Formula lately. My pH will drop down to as low a 4.6 sometimes with no change in EC. I know this means the plants are drinking more water than feed, but can't figure out why.
its a recirculating system right ? not DTW ???

I'm back using v+b again myself.
for about a year now been on the dirty & shine loving it & so are my plants. that's all ive found that i need.
before i started the shine i was using moab but that's it a base nute & a booster. love it so simple & great results.
some where in the pages of this thread i posted that the only reasons really that i stopped using it. was cuz i really didn't want to have to order it just seems like a pain.
so i was talking with chris by phone & he gave me a phone # to a reseller he had near me.
so i figured problem solved but then the second tub i bought from the guy i opened it and it had rocked up into a solid brick that did it for me at the time.
then a year ago i go into a hydro store near me and they have it on there shelf HR whole line lol.
hell when i first found this stuff they only had 2 formulas. so yeah i liked the stuff already and now they had dirty which is better for me cuz i use sunshine mix happy with my results.
i went back to maxibloom for a little bit but for most of the time since i stopped the v+b i was doing the flora mico & bloom lucas thing using moab or powder koolbloom as a booster.
so you can see i never did go back to the over priced shit. and i know v+b isn't the cheapest but its cost is ok with me hell I'm not buying 3-4 other bottles to make it complete. then add in the simplicity and just like that I'm back on the v+b train.
as i said i did start buying there shine but theres only 3 products that i need to buy somewhat regularly sunshine mix v+b dirty & shine.
