Anyone order this stuff online from the company? if so can you tell me a little about how its shipped ? Discreet or big bold letters like some companies do ?

I just ordered (and received) 5lbs. Ordered online and the packaging was discrete. I live in a small rural community where the Post Office people knew about us before we even moved in. V&B shipping will not be a problem.....IMHO:tiphat:

Thank you. I thought I read where you were using .1 ml per gal because V&B already has silicone. I'm using 3-4 Tbs per 55 gal reservoir change. I'm at 29 days of 12/12.....think V&B has enough silicone by itself that I can quit supplementing with ProTecKt until next grow? :tiphat:

yeah theres enough silica in the V&B you really don't need to add any extra . like i said , i just use it as a PH up because its more beneficial to the plants than the chemical PH adjusters .

Glad everyone in here is well. Got allot of projects going on raising kids life so I havnt been around much...But I just wanted to share Just a little update of my experience.. loving the V+B veg/ flower everything is perfect for me.

I use shine all through flower... and spray push from right out the dome and spray in veg once per week till flip.

I do standing Rez. I use tap with the RO/soft my tap is at 130ppm 24-7/364 for everything I top off 3x 200 gallon each week. 650ppm Veg. 1000ppm week 1-4 Flower and 800ppm week 5-flush flower. I do CoCo DTW multi water with plenty of run off with each system having octobubblers and pump set to irrigate with a seconds timer.

Each week I add to what existing mix is still there and I fill with fresh water and then guesstimate how many gallons of water and add 1 gram per gallon of shine first. Then I add Base until Im at my desired PPM. PH was holding strong week to week without any trouble at all checking it all the time and then I GOT LAZY.

While for a bit now everything has been going great. I started to notice a bit of strangeness going buds not filling in like normal and yeild was dropping off a bit. So I started to check things. And sure enough I noticed my PH was dropping low 5's then mid 4's after a week of sitting... So I called Cris to ask what he thinks is going on.

"I think you have been topping off for so long you might have some fall out causing this." "I would suggest running the Rez. all the way out use a shop vac suck out the bottom of the Rez clean and start over."

So I did this and back to normal and things are going off once more. So my plan is to try to run my rez all the way out At least every two weeks. And everything should be fine here on out. This problem took almost 6 months to happen. So thats my story and Im sticking to it...

Thanks....

i run my rez's empty & refill with fresh RO & nutes every time . theres very little sediment in the bottom when doing it this way . i just take a gallon of water to rinse out the rez & then suck it up with a shop vac & its ready to refill . iuse 55's in flower & 40's in veg & my PH stays rock steady for the whole time .

I got that 5 ppm 6.3ph mountain water...Cold as ice out the tap...Great for drinking...Not best for plants right away

Going against the grain here but i feel like it needs to be said. I am using Pure Blend Pro line for the first time and am experiencing the healthiest plants of any nutrient line i have tried thus far (out of maxibloom, 6/9, or V+B). When i ran V+B i experienced foxtails like no other and i always felt like it was low on the Cal+Mag. Its not a complete one-part nute if you have to add other ingredients, so why not just run PBP Bloom + Cal/Mag? Super easy here's the recipe:
2-5ml Cal/mag+
8-12ml PBP bloom - even in veg use the bloom

Here is the results so far:

For the first time in all my grows i am not experiencing any early decay of under leaves in flower, and plants just love this stuff. I will not be going back to V+B any time soon as the quality/consistency wasn't there for me. I also bought "PBP Bloom for Soil" to run at the last three weeks as it has less nitrogen.

Experiencing trouble with my latest batch of V&B's solubility. Even tried mixing first with HOT water and still some part is not going into solution. Haven't changed my methods, just a mew batch of VB.

if your using tap water , maybe something has changed in that . i know they add more chlorine here in the spring .

throw a pump in the bottom of the rez to help circulate it while mixing , you'll get the white specs like butter was saying , but it goes away after a few minutes .

I read a few pages back and saw others having the same prob. I have a recirc pump in the bottom of my res, good temps and use a mix of well and ro water to .15ec. No chlorine here.
