I get two months+ off a 5lb bag. I only use it in bloom so it goes further. I veg plants for so long any nute would work to get them ready. V+B sounded spendy when I did the numbers but it hasn't turned out that way. No more than 6/9 or Canna in reality. Worth every penny because of the improvement in the flowers. No going back to anything else for me.

How stable is the Ph with Veg+Bloom? I'm using tap 134 TDS (.5) and getting ready to switch to flowering. Maybe it's my tap water but I'm currently having about a .2 upward drift every 24 hrs in the rez with a different product. My "other" nutes worked fine in veg.....but I'd like to be able to leave town for a couple of days without the Ph climbing too high. DTW....55 gal rez. Anyone using Veg+Bloom in similar circumstances?

RO water .... & i've switched PH ups from protekt to techniflora PH up recently & its made it even more steady .... dunno why but it has .

the only reason i even got the techniflora was a fuck up order by my hydro guy , he was supposed to be getting me their calmag lol
but i tried it & its working pretty good .

i feed by EC levels not grams or tsps , & no i just add it to my rez , drop a recirc pump in there for a few minutes & it mixes up fine .

the protekt worked great as a PH for me , so i doubt you'll have any problems using it . i just use a little less now that i use the reg PH up .

Sometimes mine can drop from 6.3 to 5.5 in 48 hrs. Recently it's been taking a week to drop like that. My well water changes fucking daily I think. Shallow well right on the bank of a large glacial river. The ratio of ground up mountains to underground spring to snow melt to 10,000 year old ice melt fluctuates is all I can figure

I can feed by EC level. What EC level are you using at the beginning of flowering? Any approximation of about how much V&B you're using to get close to that number when re-filling your 55 gal rez? Just ballpark so I know how much to start with.

1.1 or 1.2 EC .... takes about 18 to 20 heaping tsps to get to that level in the 55 . i stop at 16 , then just add a bit more till i hit my EC .
i mix it up in a 1 gallon pitcher , then dump that in & let the recirc pump mix it a little better then check the EC & add more till i get there .

That's really strain dependant.... With my Gg4 I was at 600 ppm somewhere between 500 and 600 ppm at the end of vege

V&B alone in flower !

Sativas are light feeders , start low & adjust up as the plant tells you .

Read an instagram post from V+B today they are formulating a new additive that will be a sweetener plus some Cal mag and a couple of other additives but they say it could take a while to release due to testing.

they have a new 2 part formula for coco , its call DOS 1 & 2 . chris had me try it out because he read my veg was lacking something & he thought this new formula would help .,
i tried it for awhile , but didn't see very much difference in my plants . but the PH dropped alot more drastically when i mixed it & the PH wasn't as steady as the reg formula . so i went back to the reg formula after about a month . i haven't seen it released yet , so i think hes still working on it .

Veg bloom looks like it has different formulations now for your water quality...... That's... That makes much less KISS.

And they have additives...

Been meaning to call them for a sample though. I have been quite intrigued for awhile.

I will like to put it up against maxi+calmagic, RAW's all in one parts veg and bloom formulas, and the new "soil Kiss" method, which I guess is Michigan mix and pk boosters in flo.. Which I'm gonna switch those up and test out.. Plus gonna do some soil/vs DWC with all these formulations.. This'll be fun!... New bulbs, new everything!! You're gonna get some data, pictures, maybe vids....!! I think I'm gonna need a editor or a cure for sleep.

OK so whos got all the advice cause if I have to read the whole thread I'm gonna kill myself. I have like 3 books to read, 70 scientific articles, AND a buncha silly internet threads. Seriously. It's probably closer to over 100+ articles, AND I'm behind on my monthly downloads.

I need some cliff notes. I'm not the only cat. We need like, every 10 to 20 pages an update on this cause this is nuts. We need the condensed guide and yeah I'm making it but for myself once I read and take notes on this all.. I know this is kiss.. But 300+ pages obviously isn't that kiss lol
