Pretty snazzy systems.

The key thing to look out for is that the Outer bucket's bottom is sloped so the almost all the drain water leaves.

ThaMagnificent....nice on the 1gals + styrofoam. Was thinking about rigging up a little differently shortly to run thru some seed plants quickly and thats probably the route i'll take. So the styrofoam works good and doesn't get nasty and disease ridden? I was hoping to find something similar to the car detailing tool called "Grit guard" to place in the outer bucket and keep inner "custom" bucket raised out of the drainage but i only seen them for 5gals.

Aspen it looks like you may have room to move around all sides of the flood table in the room? If so, i wouldn't change it unless head height becomes an issue, even then your only going to save a little distance probably depending on what you raised your table with.

My problem with the table is i can only access from one side from my room and its a huge PIA. If i could access it easily all the way around i would probably just used a flood table i had in storage.

Just harvested the last run. Cleaned the room and system. Moved and transplanted the veg plants to the flower room. Plants have recovered nicely from running V+B a lil low at the beginning for my setup. These are at 780ppm/1.6ec. White Fire on the left and Gorilla Glue #4 on the right. Lets see what this V+B can do.

How often do you flood?

Mind the leaf deficiencies. (I think I'm under feeding?)

Cut out the squares. Cut out reflective mylar and tape it down with reflective tape. Cut circles. Doesn't get messy because the water never touches it. Now just trying to figure out how to block the roots from growing into the drain

Dollar my buddy had the same problem with the roots growing down in to the hoses and clogging the lines. We put a circle of fabric cloth like they use to make smart pots. Just big enough to cover the holes in the inner bucket. If you are going to veg a long time you might double it up. You could probably just put it in the bottom of the outer bucket.

Yea Cat tell me about it brother trying to get to the back of the table is a real BITCH, for the moment i made a platform with 2x4's with plywood on top of it. that's what my tray sits on had to elevate the tray so my low profile condensate pump would fit under it. There is one foot on either side of that tray, i was sliding it back and forth to get enough room to work on the back side of the table, now with it wet all the time it's way to heavy for me to move.

So i have a solution.... i'm going to build a pvc frame and use some of those little low profile heavy wheels i think they call them castors...... i can save about two inches the way i have it designed and easily move the whole tray around that's for my next run......

Thanks packerfan! I`ll give this a try.
