my buds with vegbloom looked very similar to icbuds and i did not like the structure or yield. burn is not the greatest either. awesome bag appeal minus the smaller buds and off structure.

smaller pots mean more plants per light. with 5 gals usually go with 4 per light. 2 per 750w DE all day with canna. hoping to pull the same numbers and better quality with veg plus bloom. I believe it will.. dropped canna after 4 years with superb results. I have lots of confidence in the guys at hydroponics research

Just because you are able to put more plants in an area, doesnt mean you have to, need to, or should. You should put four per light using 3 Gal, instead of 5 gal. The 3 gallons will grow faster, out yield the 5 gallon, and be a cleaner final product. the more often you are able to feed your plant in Coco, the faster it grows. The plant should want watering daily, if your not feeding daily because your Coco is still wet, you are overwatering your plants. The whole point of Smart Pots is to air prune your roots, so it doesn't get root bound. I actually use 2 gal Smart pots, and get 10-12 dried per plant with a 10-14 day veg. Unless you are Vegging your plants forever, there is no advantage in using a 5 gal vs 3 Gal smart pot. Good luck.

Im in 3 gallon coco air pots (plastic ones with holes not fabric) water 4 times per day 12 seconds each in veg from day one. Till flip.

And I water in flower 8 times per day 8 seconds each week 1-4

8 times per day 12 seconds each week 5-8 Im never over 1.5 ec

Day 57 till chop I flush with low EC...

But I have to say different plants some like it and some do not. I know some suffer from it.

And ICbuds is right. If It aint broken. His strains like what he is doing. Would some probably benefit from more waterings they could. But some might not. Like my Blue dream will yield all day long she acts like I could water her continuously and love it. But Cheeze likes wet dry cycles to yield. GG#4 loves all the feedings. But my Moonshine wet dry. She just hates being constantly wet. Ive tried all different PH and EC, Aerating adding more or less hydroton, perlite whatever and Ive determined this buy tons of testing over allot of years I hate to even mention lol.

This is all from my experience of course.

Its my favorite day time smoke !!! nice sweet pineapple taste ,clear headed buzz but still strong .not foggy like some strains can be ,straight up happy giggly buzz , i smoke it when i'm going into the bigger city so i don't get stressed out by traffic , i just laugh at the fuckers instead

your sitting on a pack ? pop them fuckers & look for the cinderella dominant phenos .
they're easy to spot cuz the G13 dominant ones are severe Indica , short stout thick stemmed . the cindy leaners are more sativa in structure , i'm sure you've seen pics of cinderella99 before .

I have grown a lt of C99 hybrids., still have quite a few left, I might pop a couple Galadriel beans too, i had 1 good girl a couple years back, but I gave it away. Have a ton of seeds that need popping, I just need more space. I see you have white strawberry diesel, I have 1 Strawberry Diesel Kush girl that I kept out of 4 girls. Dense and really Diesely, yields very well. Good work, how longyou take your KQR? Thanks!

What version of Veg+Bloom are you guys using in Coco?

I purchased the original version Veg+Bloom for RO/Soft water (i believe) for my plants in Coco. After reading most of this thread i see that they have an HD product for hydro applications.. including coco.

I am only in Veg now but if i need to switch i'd like to asap.

Original formula or HD for Coco?

Thanks for all the info guys.

KQR & the WSD both go 70 days for that sweet spot . :tiphat:
my WSD came from Puma/Jaws & mine leans toward the white salmon side more than the SD side . but nice potent smoke !!!

25lbs of each nute? Damn - that's a lot

I'm just trying to find out what 5lb bin i should get.. What are people using in Coco? Original or HD?

My plants do not seem to veg with nearly the same pace or vigor with veg+bloom as opposed to head 6/9 formula (4ml micro 6ml bloom). There is a drastic difference between plants fed the veg+bloom and 6/9. There's no question

mainly because people feed to light with this stuff in veg . i found that there very little difference in EC strength in veg & my peek feeds in flower . i'll hit up to 1.1 or 1.2 in veg on my last few rounds & my peek in flower 90% of the time is 1.4 , veg does alot better with higher feeds in my garden lately .
or they're running T5's in veg when you really should be under 600 or 1000watts MH

always tweeking to find that sweet spot .

I've got 12 plants in veg under 600 watt MH's with 2 weeks to go & they just got 1.2 tonight . & they'll stay at that EC untill the stretch is over in flower .

Well I'm running t5s and I won't be changing it anytime in the future. I'm comfortable with the quality and quantity I'm getting from my t5 from previous harvests

That being said I'm open for suggestions on the dosing aspect of things

So right now in early veg I'm running 2ml micro 3ml bloom at 280ppm on one half of the garden and
on the other half of the garden I'm running 1/4tsp of veg+bloom at 290ppm. So they are equal in ppm reading....should I increase my dose of the veg+bloom to 1/2tsp?

Last time I checked 1/2 tsp was 420ppm. Thanks dansbud :tiphat:
