Zach from V+B recommended putting freshly rooted clones into their new home and letting it sit for a day before watering.. wouldn't think they'd take this very well but I'm sure gonna try it out. How much have you guys been feeding freshly rooted clones without burning them.. can they take 5 grams a gal right from the start? GG4, Wifi43 and Lemon OG Warrior cuts all freshly rooted

I'm a V+B newb, but I have been using the HD formula at .25tsp/gal on seedlings and .5tsp/gal on freshly rooted cuttings with good results. Also using the +Life at .25tsp/5 gallons on the same veg plants.

just ordered v+b RO seen nothing but kick ass results. Slow I just switched over to the maxigrow in late veg since my house and garden line is almost empty and its a pain right now to get. not buying 1 liters for 35 bucks. Ill let you know how they like it I flushed with plain water before switching.


Anyway Im obviously using RO water so I got the RO formula.
Is cal mag going to be needed with it ? I see you guys recc. switching to HD formula after week 2 in flower but you also say slow that in flower the RO formula and some epsom salt are kicking ass. it just need the extra MG.


Dan bro I see you use the RO formula with calmg though ? you use the RO formula all the way from veg to harvest. guess that why its called veg+bloom


just trying to get a feel for this stuff got the coffee warming up and will get to reading.

that depends on what medium your putting them in & if its been premoistened . i can't see putting fresh rooted clones into coco or soils without some type of watering .

.5 or .6 EC is a good place to start on the fresh rooted clones .

yeah i use the V&B from clone to harvest . the calmag is only added to veg & the first 2 weeks of flower because i've been running alot of sour bubble crosses recently & sour bubble is a calcium hog . my GG4 needs only magnesium so i just give her epsom salts . the rest are just getting the V&B .theres plenty of CalMag in the V&B RO formula ..... some strains require a little more is all .

not really , been using CaliMagic lately for the extra iron for the fast growth under the MH in veg . i think they're all pretty much the same .

Gettin the chop tonight at day 63 , fed only plain RO water for the last 13 days love the fade from the 2 week RO leaching !!!

V&B RO formula & MBferts vitamin/hormone boost in veg & nothing but V&B at 1.4 EC in flower .... NO PK boosters needed !

I don't flush just top off my Rezzies the last two weeks. I changed my Rezs 3x this run using about 3lbs for each 50gal drum which run 3 DE Gavitas each. I find the topping off at the end usually gets me to about 1 EC at finish but the calyx swell out better this way opposed to just ro

Nice guys! I just harvested this Chem DD with RO version ran to 1.3 ec with 2 additions of the plus size weeks 4 and 6 staying at 1.3 ec just replacing .4ec of ro version with +size! Likewise flushed with ro last 2 weeks.

i reuse my pots of coco 3 times before i finally ditch them , so i want as little nutes left in the coco as possible . but i've had no problems with calyx swell in plain RO they fatten up & finish just nicely & i know from the fade that theres no nutes left in her by the chop . nice clean burn

What week is that pic from? If you use Coco, there is plenty of nutes trapped in the Coco to support a Full 10-14 days of straight RO water. I prefer to have my plants fade, feeding straight RO will give me that fade. But everyone has different setups and prefrences. Whatever works best for you. I personally associate a good flush with a good fade.
