Keep the PH , EC & environment in the right range & watch how well this shit works

airy buds sounds like to much heat , which is why i mentioned environment too .

the bud structure was messed up because of nutrient lockout, not fluffy just messed up. my buds basically stopped growing around week 5. temperatures never got above 78 at the canopy. i think my meter was reading really incorrectly. i flushed and the plants are eating again but im still seeing a nutrient burn on the tips. this is strange because im only feeding at 750 ppms using osa28 silicic acid. even the original runoff before the flush was only reading at 1000 ppms and normally this wouldnt burn for me.

last run w veg bloom, plus size....flower room ec started around 1.5 topped off at the end around 2.0...in soil.i was hesitant to like this stuff,i use it mostly on lighter feeders but as long as the environment is on,and you play around with it to see what works for you,you will do well.1st couple runs with it for me had me not loving it too much, but i had 10 lbs of it so i wasnt gonna let it go to waste, kept using it here and there and this is what my last run looked like.....

ssk....dense as a baseball bat....no airyness at all....

deathstar....not as dense as the ssk but thats the way she is,not the nutes.....shes def not airy....

so yea, this stuff works if you play around with it.....i used the + size at 1 gram a gallon from week 3 till flush, then topped it off w the v+b to get to whatever ec i wanted at the time....also used some cal/mag and liquid karma....

just had to come show it works,i did have my doubts and i stated them here....
not too proud to come back and recant my previous post...
this stuff is good.

also if your getting airy buds, make sure your fans aint blasting your canopy.all you need is some movement too much and
the wind will never give the bud chance to form when it starts growing.learned that the ard way about 12 yrs ago....didnt know about ic then and ruined a whole tent w 1 strong fan :D
live and learn.

Much Much Respect Tonatiuh !!! :respect:

That is perfection right there !!! & its not just the nutes :tiphat:

I grew with only VB for 5-6grows (maybe more) then HR sent me a sample of +SIZE. Alas, they offered no help on how to use it

I think it was DansBuds who answered that for me, or someone in this thread did. Anyway, I have much fatter thicker heavier buds using +SIZE than I ever did without it

What rate r u using size at a gallon?

One teaspoon per 2+ gallons for the last ~ 3 weeks. Started reducing overall ppms last 2 weeks while keeping +Size the same. I think it was you who shared weekly adjustments

I merely add makeup water/nutes to replenish

I think starting with structuring the RO water makes a big difference (see YT videos) So structuring + using an electric mixer which creates a vortex (another known method to restore waters energy) is amping up growth

The reason I'm asking is because I'm using 6/9 in my regime but I am debating including the +size as a replacement for Koolbloom. Your thoughts?

I think it was DansBuds who provided this a couple years back, but to whomever, thanks. It has made a huge difference

That being said here is how I grow my Green Crack strain with V+B perfectly (7 week strain):

Veg- 600ppm v+b, 1 tsp +life per 5 gals
week 1 flower- 700ppm v+b
week2-3 flower- 800ppm v+b
week 4 flower- 1 tsp per 5 gals +size then enough v+b to reach 800 ppm
week 5 flower- 1 tsp per 5 gals +size then enough v+b to reach 500 ppm
week 6 flower- 2 tsp per 5 gals +size then enough v+b to reach 300ppm which is usually close to none
week 7- flush

For an 8 week strain I'd bump week 5 to 700, 6 to 500, 7 to 300, 8 flush

Hope this helps.

wasn't me , i nly used the plus size twice & didn't like the sediment it left in my rez & didn't see much difference in my buds using it , so i dropped it .

hey
I have skimmed this forum.
For times sake...
I have got V+B hard water witch i have been using with a 100% perilite hempy buckets with great results.
I am now changing mediums to CoCo Coir.
Will Veg+Bloom Hard water work with CoCo Coir??
How much per gallon....
Sorry to ask. Gotta get to work....

Shoot for 1.2-1.3 ec for most strains. Will depend on your water source. Works great for coco (although starting with RO WATER, using the RO formula is probably the best was to ensure success. Not saying it can't be done otherwise, but SOOOO easy.

I'm like Cheffy & use RO formula with RO water , but my kid uses the tap water formula with his tap water at .8 EC in coco at the same feed schedule i do & is having great results .
so short answer .... Yes .

veg ... 1.0 EC max
flower ... 1.4 EC max
at 5.7 to 6.1 PH

if your new to coco , treat it like soil untill roots are established in the pots of coco , then you can feed daily .because it CAN be over watered unless the roots are established !
