Pure condensate. Sounds like the same issue I had man yes it was veg.
I tried everything and I figured it out. Im sure it was a virus from the water.

I put 5ml per gallon of 3%... you can buy 29-32% and use it I think 1ml per gallon. you can use chlorine and bleach dutch master zone would probably work as well. but I prefer peroxide.

I use 35% food grade peroxide. I think I paid $100 for 4 gallons 3 or 4 years ago.

Several places carry it online for pools and spas.

My last run, I vegged as usual, but switched to Pure Blend Pro for flower. I ran 5ml/gal of cal/mg through week 7. I ran 2ml/gal Hydroplex weeks 3 thru 7, and 6ml/gal Sweet weeks 4-7. The Pure Blend run has much thicker flowers than the v+b runs, and final dry weight is just under 3#. I pulled 6oz more than my best v+b run, and almost 3/4# more than my average with v+b. Also keep in mind:this was my summer crop, which is usually the lightest of the year. Just wanted to put it out there. I'm still going to use v+b for cuttings and veg, but not flower.

I ran +size every other run when flowering with v+b, didn't see any major difference in yield/quality either way. I did notice WAY less burning/crisping of leaves when I ran v+b alone.

On this run, I didn't use any HR products in flower, just Botanicare products. Hydroplex is their equivalent to +size.

The flowers are larger, better structured, and the yield is significantly better running the Botanicare in flower. The flowers still need to cure for another month or so to be at their best flavor and aroma, but early reports are all positive. I'll be doing the same program for the current run. I'm optimistic about hitting 1.5#/1K this run, with sour bubble, which is really good for a non-vert grow. Maybe it was a fluke, but I don't think so. I'll know for sure sometime in january. Meanwhile I am vegging with v+b, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. I mean I've still got like 25# of the stuff. I still think it better and easier for veg than anything else I've used. I am adding liquid karma and silica blast in veg, the combo balances the ph back out.

If "+size crushes hydroplex", why did I realize my largest yield with hydroplex?My personal experience (as well as others) with +size is that it makes little to no difference, and isn't worth the effort or $$. I only harvested 3 weeks ago, so the herb is admittedly still "green" tasting, but structure and aroma are outstanding, and the stone is as strong as ever. Once the cure sets in, I'm sure the flavor will be as good/better than ever too.

If you're happy with the HR products in flower, bully for you. Why the need to cast negativity on my program? Gardening is about results, not product loyalty. My results are fairly impressive. A 20% increase in yield, along with an overall increase of quality is hard to argue with. Believing that ANY of these packaged nutes is THE ONE is just plain silly.

How do you like that Tupur? I know I have seen you use a lot of different mediums. Is Tuper just Coco and Perlite? How much is it per bag by you? Thanks!

Hey Ez i think im gonna try exactly what u did with V+B and PBP on a couple plants next year when the season starts. i have never ran PBP before but i got some samples so mise well give it a shot. i got hydroplex,vitamino and sweet raw as well

I'll never use anything else for veg after trying Maxigro. I've been using V+B HD in my perpetual for a couple months now. It's good stuff but it's not better than the 6/9 GH I switched from. I guess I sorta bought into the V+B hype and expected better. It's great stuff it's just not better. I need better to justify the added expense. I got a couple months supply left so I'll ride it out. I can't badmouth the stuff, I like it. I think most of the piks on this thread are from guys with dialed in rooms and supplying co2. That right there will beat any differences in nute brands by far.

Going an a rant may be amusing, but you haven't answered my basic question: If v+b is the magic mixture, why did I have better results with something else? Don't get me wrong, v+b is a great product, but no better /worse than several other great products out there. IMHO, the +size is a waste, and I will stand by that. FWIW, I can run my PBP recipe for the same , if not less than the v+b. I will grant that the v+b is easier to run(no ph necessary), but for an extra .5-.75#, I'll suffer through a daily ph session.

I grew with only VB for 5-6grows (maybe more) then HR sent me a sample of +SIZE. Alas, they offered no help on how to use it

I think it was DansBuds who answered that for me, or someone in this thread did. Anyway, I have much fatter thicker heavier buds using +SIZE than I ever did without it

Ditto for me. This run is stacking up much more nicely than previous runs with the V&B only. Icing on the cake for me, was happy with the results before, now I'm super stoked this time around!
