The water should technically be distilled coming out of the dehuey, I just worry about fungus and mold that can accumulate on the condensing coils. For that reason, water from my dehueys gets the heave-ho.

I just water my outside plants and shrubs with it. I know my RO unit puts out the same water every time and I know it's clean.

Mine comes out 7.5 ph and 11 ppm, but the pitcher I used to test it is well used.

is anyone having calmag deficiencies using the HD formula? the rep tells me i shouldnt add calmag.

i finished out a flower run with it and the plants didn't do great. (this may have been my fault as the powders werent dissolving all the way and i was adding more because my ppms were low.) now in veg they are all magnesium deficient with very red stems. i want to supplement calmag but im worried that i will over dose calcium and cause problems. does anyone have any ideas?

Read the last few pages... These formulas seem balanced for flower, but often need supplemental cal mag or Epsom salts in veg.

Looking good Dans...

I use all my condensate as well AC and Duey. But I treat it with Peroxide Everything Pumps into 55 gallon Drums once they are full I just put some peroxide in and use when I need it.

Just a short story while on the subject.

I use to use the condensate without treating it and while using it for tea I had no problems but for newts. I had yellowing between the veins for a long time and I always thought something was being locked out or my food was off. For a couple of years I battled it. Drove me nuts things were not perfect.

So with no avail I ended up switching back to tap and changed nothing else and the problem went away. So I realized it was the water. So I decided to treat my condinsate and bam no problems sense. Idk if it was a virus or a fungus. But going on three years now and not one single problem with it being treated. Its free and clean. (well now it is) Hope this helps.

What water are you using D4NK? Just curious.

Was the drum filled with nothing but condensate water?
I mix condensate with RO, I would say the bulk is RO.
I've had what appears to be a Mg def in veg forever now.
Whatever I do I can't get rid of it entirely.
This post piqued my interest, you might be on to something.

I got a Mg def on my plants in coco while using HD too, just started spraying the gals down with Epsom salts and things improved quickly. My plants in ProMIx have been smooth sailing, just can't give em straight water for some reason so I've been going feed, feed, 1/2 feed.

Pure condensate. Sounds like the same issue I had man yes it was veg.
I tried everything and I figured it out. Im sure it was a virus from the water.

I put 5ml per gallon of 3%... you can buy 29-32% and use it I think 1ml per gallon. you can use chlorine and bleach dutch master zone would probably work as well. but I prefer peroxide.

Let me know if you have any other questions and let us know how it goes.
