What kind of cal+mag do you use? I'm looking for something that'll run clean in my rez and won't cause issues with my blumats.
I can't find where they have moved the guaranteed analysis for the various types of V+B on the site, but in my experience, the RO version doesn't need "cal+mag". The RO version already has 10% Ca included in it, which is substantially higher than most nutrients - for instance, Maxi Bloom has 5%. Cal-Mag has nitrogen in it (more than the Mg, actually), and in combination with what is already in V+B, it can raise the level higher than I want.
Epsom salts are cheap, widely available, and work great in Blumats. I add 1.3 grams/gallon as a general rule, and up to 2.0 grams/gallon for the mag hogs. This also picks up the sulfur level, of which my water has zero.
Any feedback from anyone else on whether or not the RO formula would work with my 0.4EC / 200ppm ~7pH water straight out of the tap? If not, does anyone have an RO unit to recommend for a personal-sized grower?
I use the Stealth RO 100GPD plus i have 3 sediment filters before my RO unit because of my shitty tap water . i have 2 flow restrictors on my drain so that i have a 3 to 1 waste instead of 2 to 1 .

i've never tested the waste water from my dehuey , i always just dump it . is it good to use ?
now i'm gonna have to check it
mine runs into a 30 gallon barrel , & i just pump it into 5 gallon buckets to empty it . but i figured theres no real way of filtering the water in the dehuey .... i think . & god knows what that water is going to be like after running through the dehuey . i could be way off here , don't really know , never researched it . i will now though lol
