Hey BF, I don't know if it will or not but I can tell you how to inhibit it if it does. Just keep your 1 gal jug in your fridge next to your milk. The cold and dark inhibit almost all growth of all forms of life
Is that what you do brother? Thanks for the good advice. I think i might just stick with maxibloom out of simplicity as it doesn't do this for me. Are you still waiting for your HD?
I keep various additives in the fridge and keep all the rest in cold dark places in my house. Shit stays stable forever that way. I'm in Alaska so I have plenty of cold dark places, inside and out.
I got my HD last week and mixed up some in my spare 30 gal barrel. I'm watching for ph drift in the mix, none so far. As soon as my 30 gal rez of 6/9 is gone I'll pump the HD into it. A little worried as with my perpetual the plants are all in different weeks of bloom. BAM one day eating 6/9 and the next HD.brainzfuxed

keep us updated on how it goes. do you ever post any pics of your grows? i would be very interested in seeing your beauties! are you aerating that HD mix or moving it around with a water pump or just letting it sit? thanks!

Once I pump it into the 30 gal bottom res it will pump up into the 5 gal supply res and fall back into the 30, pump runs 15 min on each hour of lights on and 15 min every 3 hours lights off. Blumats. I got some bud piks of Platinum GSC and Locktite somewhere on this site.

how long has it been sitting in there? any issues what so ever? and i looked didnt see anything in your "gallery" on your profile. regardless as always happy labor day!
Im using RO water and in flower I ran V+B it was my first run and I added 1.5 grams per gallon +size weeks 3-5 at 1.6ec total with the V+B. I am using Protekt as PH up and phosphoric for ph down ph is stable at 5.9 most of the time. I had budset lock around week 4 so I was thinking I must have over did it.
@ICBuds looking good!! I have heard about the new product they are calling it shine supposed to be released on the 20th of this month. I may just try to use up the rest of my +size at a lower rate and then pick up the shine. Obviously I did something wrong with it so I well keep it a little lower in strength. So far the RO formula V+B is the best formula I have run not to mention the ease of use.

cuz i don't use it , i stopped using any PK boosters cuz it seemed like when i did there was always some type of problem . the plus size left a sandy residue in my rez & My OCD just couldn't handle that .
But , my point is ..... V&B alone does very well for me !!! better than when i have used a PK boost . So i'm wondering if it really makes such a difference & what those differences are . frost , bud size , density , stacking ..... what ???
my last 4 runs have been done with V&B only from the flip till i start leaching 2 weeks before the chop . & they have all been probably the best runs this year !!!
these are still in , have about 2 weeks to go , just started plain water yesterday .

dans when you have used the +Size did you use it with the V&B? i have been kind of tinkering and have had better results when i stop all other ferts when using the PK boosters and keep the EC below 1.0, but that was with dry kool bloom and the npk is different.
I let my HD sit almost a week at 5.9 ph and it didn't drift at all which is nice. The HD didn't dissolve completely in my well water. Noticed some white specs floating around. No biggie I don't think as no powders dissolve completely in my water. I had to use ph down to hit 5.9 and I didn't feel like jacking it even further up with protekt so I left it out while I think on that one. I took my plants in bloom off 6/9 a couple days ago and started running the HD through the blumats. Nothing to report except they didn't miss a beat and are still motoring along. No news is good news at the beginning
yeah the short time i did use it , i added the + size first at half the recomended dose & then just enough V&B to get to my desired EC .
after a couple rez fulls , i noticed the residue on the bottom & had to clean out my rez & pumps & lines so i didn't get clogs , i also didn't notice much change in my flowers so i just stopped using it all together . it was almost like a sand in the bottom & it can't be good for my pumps !!!
thanks for the +SIZE input...i have been having an issue and couldn't figure it out...think thats it...and i bought a fkn pound of the +SIZE...gonna do a side by side and see if it helps..thanks again Dans..DJXX

i hear ya on the + size i got a pound of it as well which i wont be using no time soon, bc i know what im gonna be using from here on out and that will be V+B and golden tree. As long as the quality is still there like it is when i use AN's big bud,overdrive and nirvana. i will prolly always use bud factor x though just bc of the chitosan that is in it.
