1.3 in veg is high if ya ask me , i don't go any higher than that in peek flower .
I used the 6/9 myself for awhile , it was a great nute for coco , had no defs & everything was healthy , but .... it produced the blandest tasting weed i ever grew . nice buds , but no smell or tastes like i would get with anything else . was using maxi bloom right before that on the same strain & i couldn't believe how shitty it tasted with the GH micro & bloom .

I was overdoing it and they weren't growing much but when I got the meter and went to .9EC they jumped pretty good and they're damn thirsty now, cant get enough.
If you drop it to .9-1.0 I think you'll get some explosive results S&E...especially going into the larger veg area.

(on my Fatties not the GB Dan ;) GB was a whole other ordeal but they're looking pretty damn nice now)

6/9 with some Magical and silica reads 1.5EC
Chris from HR said 4 grams per gal. And a little +Life Just read 1.2EC.

6/9 will grow better in Veg for sure, I have tried it vs all HR products in veg and 6/9 is better....and I like that I can cut the micro in Flower. I am not sure why you have bland results, but I will admit that the + Size seems to make the plant very sticky and Stinky. Not sure if the Extra Stank will help with the taste? I will let you. Know

but in one instance you are feeding 1.5 and the other 1.2 so wouldn't it make sense that one is vegging faster than the other ? I found some deficiencies in my set up feeding 1.2 and once i bumped to 1.5 they went away .....

I agree, the 6/9 is stronger, and the plants grow faster. People are saying 1.3EC is too strong for veg with HR products. Chris said 4grams per gal of HD, WHICH is 1.2 ish EC. I have done it 4 separate times, 6/9 is WAY better for fast health veg plants. I am more concerened with end product. I have proven 4 times that 6/9 is better fir veg, period. Not worth wasting time or money using any V+B in veg for my situation. However, I will continue to experiment in flower. I will finish my currnt Veg side by side, then see the diffence in flower. 6/9 & +SIZE VS HD & +SIZE. AND like I said before, I think the +SIZE brings out more odors in the plant than with Kool Bloom or without any PK boost. Will report results in future

That is just a baseline. There are many variables. Water, lights, room, co2, genetics, type of medium, frequency of feeds, etc....
Comparing v+b to 6/9 is like comparing apples to oranges. Just not on the same level.
Chris recommended to me to just use tap through veg, then start using his product to supplement my tap.

It's kind of like comparing Wild Turkey to Crown Royal.

I do not get what you mean. My environment is consistent. My genetics have been grown from seed by me and have been done many many times. I hand water, so I knowhow much I am using. The fact is 6/9 vegs faster. I am comparing 2 formulas in a controlled environment. How is that Apples to Oranges? They are literally side by side. How else do you compare? I want to see the end product side by side from clone to harvest. I have ran this strain for many years. I think that the V+B lineup has potential to do very well with experimentation....which is what I am doing. The end product quality s most important to me. I will report my results as they occur

Here's my ebb n grow garden, 17 days veg, 6 days into flower running 1.35ec v+b. Will be upping to 1.4-1.5 in a week or so. Just had to up the ec in my dwc buckets to 1.5. No deficiency and all nice and healthy and happy. V+b ro with 100ppm tap water. tmp_3524-20141128_1255461435513891.jpg

Edit: just ordered more v+b and getting a sample of the dirty for my dirty plants.

Great! I'll just sit here and smoke a bowl... Sorry for the confusion.

@ alpha - see I told ya you would love the v+b lol :) nice roots BTW..

There is so much hate and negativity towards it on these boards including someone that keeps trolling my threads with their maxi love fuck v+b attitude .. and I don't get why.. it works.. its simple.. and its cheap.. what more can you ask? the very definition of K.I.S.S. IMO.. I've been using it for 2 years now and I can't praise it enough.. keep the EC low and you will be happy.. 1.0 for veg and up to 1.4 in flower if you feel like pushing them.. but I usually stay in the 1.0-1.2 EC range and most plants thrive and that's in tap.. adding in +size I back off on the base EC and there isn't any issues.

If you want to boost your veg then foliar with +size at 1 gram per gal. I tried the 1/2 gram as recommended and just bumped it to 1 gram for convenience sake. I'd still spray a few to make sure your gear can handle it. I only use it on my slow veggers cuz the rest stretch like a mofo in weeks 1-2. these I ran the dirty on and only vegged for 12-14 days from roots. don't fixate on the veg man, too many homies with top heavy bamboo, missing out on the yield for sure

I am entering week 4 of flower

Now adding ~ 5gms +Size to 2.5G RO (20 ppm) then ~ 200ppm Epsom salts (due to high intensity LEDs) then ~ 2.5 tsp V + B= ~ 900ppm

Pics tomorrow in my threads
