Hey quick +size question. I assume I will be at 1.5ec by week 3 of flower, do I add the +size in addition to the normal ec I would be running? Say I need to be running 1.5ec, after I add the +size I assume it will change the ec considerably, so say if it raises it .3 ec, should I be running 1.8ec or should I compensate and start the v+b @ 1.2ec and get the 1.5ec after adding the +size? Hope that makes sense. Just wondering if I need to lower the ec of v+b when I start adding the +size or add the +size on top of the ec of v+b. I would appreciate any help!,

Drop your EC to 1.2 and go from there. It does raise your EC quite a bit. I dropped my EC before I added +size to compensate and had no issues. I think Dan and others do the same from what I remember.

tonatiuth -

in 3 gallon pots of pro mix /sunshine mix i water every 3rd day - switching to coco soon for multiple feeds per day but ....

you do not need to add cal or mag this stuff has a ton in it already .... its a well balanced formula you just need to be careful with salt build up in peat based medium so flush and I try and tea every other weak if possible

I don't need any calmag and my water is .3 ec tap. I don't need a ph meter with dirty or hd in promix. my ec is always pretty low, like 1, and I don't really have to flush. For one day a week they get some .5 ec solution. the nutrient pretty much does all the work

this was GG4 in fwok running HD +SIZE , I just followed the directions. [/QUOTE]

Max your swell w/ a flush. I'm barely realizing that, been doing a 1/4 dose earth juice bloom flush after week 6, haven't tested the EC of it yet but it's low enough to encourage a good fade, as they eat the leaves the nugs go superswolen. That leaf on the left says she's high in nitrates, she could eat them nitrates and get even fatter, might even literally drip some resin

Anyone know the PPM max for the RO/soft mix? My tap runs 180-220 come to find out and I bought the H.

T - I have not been adding any cal/mag with RO - the nutrient is complete. i let ph swing anywhere between 5.5 - 6.0 and try and walk it up a little at the end

I think it's up to a 100 for the Soft/RO, 100-250 for the hard/tap, any water for the dirty and also the HD. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I bought the dirty and the tap/hard. My tap is 380ppm so I'll cut it to 250ppm with RO then add my nutes back. This is only during bloom. Just use tap in veg unless I see deficiencies.

its funny , a couple of the Cali growers are claiming that shes week compared to some of the shit they have ...... i'm hard pressed to believe that !!!

Haha yeah well people can think what they want.. She's a winning strain that is super frosty and puts on weight so she'll be in my arsenal lol.I'm sure there is better out there but I'm not complaining for how low of a feeder she is..

HD vs 6/9 early veg report for anyone who cares. It has been a little over a week since transplant to Keg cup from 5oz clone cup. The 6/9 clone was a tad smaller when I cut them, since both the Dirty and the RO vegged slower, I figure the HD will too. Anyways, the 6/9 clone is now taller and larger leafs than the HD. Both look fantastic and will be transplanted this week and put in larger veg area. That will be the true test, but I anticipate the 6/9 will continue to surpass the HD in veg. I used the instructions on the HD, 4 grams per gal and a little +LIFE, and the EC was 1.3 I believe. I plan on only Vegging 2 weeks once transplanted this week, then flip. I will use +SIZE as directed strength wise, but only week 3-6.

I have my RO version vs Dirty plants starting to flush tomorrow. The RO version did not stretch as much, but bulked up more in flower. They both look good, but the Dirty looks like it had a little more N in mix. I used +SiZe on both...and I think that it brings out more of the smell as well as swell. My 6/9 plant I used it on seemed more fragrant than usual as well. I hope the HD does not fall behind in 2 weeks, but the final product will be a true comparison. However it may take a little time and experimenting on feeding strength schedule for the HD. I truly hope the results are good fir the HD, If yield is a little less, but Quality is better I will switch. Will update next week to see how they do after transplant. I will be curious to see if the root mass is any better with the +LIFE and HD vs 6/9. I prolly will transplant them Friday, will report.
