Vanderbilt has beaten Alabama in Nashville, their first ever win over a top-ranked team. hell, first time over a top-5 team. and Tennesse has run into a buzzsaw in Arkansas, trailing 3-0 at the half. first time in Heupels career that his team has been held scoreless for a half, to the best of my knowledge. poor ol' Vols can't run a set of downs without drawing a flag, and there haven't been any BS calls either. no home cooking, just bad play on Tennessees part...they get the ball first in the second half. SOMETHING about their play-calling and execution better change drastically.
i'll be honest, i thought the Vols were gonna get whipped today. their defense is better than i thought. Iamaleava threw the ball better, but needs to learn that throwing the ball up for grabs to avoid a sack isn't always the smart thing to do. two interceptions from that alone...

Yeah brother, it's been tough being a Florida fan... everyone wants to get rid of our head coach and that's not the answer with him in there only 3 years.. clearly something wrong interior..
west coast football has evolved over the last ten years or so, and it had to or sink into irrelevance nationally. Oregon has seen what those better teams in the SEC/Ohio State etc have been doing, and applied those lessons well. they had the skills, they had the speed...now they have the grit and attitude to go with it. the SEC is beating itself up, rather than 2 or 3 teams dominating, which sure as hell makes for more interesting football on tv. Florida will be back, as will LSU, and ol' Miss is coming on as well. you cannot take ANY games for sure-fire wins these days. i love it!
