Glad you like....I've ordered from them, they have just about everything.....get the catalog and sign up for their e-newsletter - great tips and how-tos every month

I would like to build their dreadnought acoustic guitar kit one day.

Still have to finish my formerly fretted fretless bass.

Drums for some years now. My kit is a cheapo Pacific kit with Meinl Amun and SabianB8 cymbals. My influences are from the progressive scene but straight ahead rock goes too.

Then I got a Cort Action bass. I've played bass for some while now but so far not very seriously. I've had time to fail in guitar and organs in my younger days, my talent's obviously in the rhythmic instruments. Just sold my Ibanez guitar to cover travel expenses and to get some good sativa from Amsterdam where I can be found next thursday.

Pete - I concur with Red, good call man, they've got so much information! I'm going to be reading for a while now.

Red- good luck don't blow your o-ring out brother :muahaha:

Yellowmoon- I play Pacific drums and they are good man, I admit they are the cheaper version of DW and so far I really like them, they're solidly built and are by no means inferior to other similiarly priced drum kits out there at least in my opinion, as for the Sabian B8's if you like Sabian cymbals (I personally love them, wont use anything else.. almost) try the AA, AAX or HH line of Sabians, they're pretty pricy as my crash my ride and my hi-hats were about 650 without hardware but they've got awesome sound if you like some hard hitting rhythm.

peace love and pot

this has turned into a cool thread...

and yea a music forum on IC would be a nice addition..

building guitars...i think eddie van halen gave me the bug.... high school in wood work class we had a project....join some wood togeather and put atleasted one hole in it....make what you want.....took me a few seconds and i thought to myself hahahah im making a guitar....

the wood i had to use was mahogany i think...6" x 1 " ..the teacher had no i dea on building a guitar(no one got it that this was going to be playable!!!) so i just went on what i had read in guitar mags..

i traced a kramer guitar a mate had then traced that onto the wood that i'd glued 4 rectangle bits of wood togeather to make a nice sqaure....cut it with the ban saw...cheated and got a luither to cut the neck tremelo hole and one humbucker bridge pick up hole(and i hacked out the electroinics hole hehehe)

because i liked the shape of the thick to thin kramer shape i spent many many weeks or months sanding the body to shape...was a real conection with the wood just feeling and looking at the the shape untill i was happy.

havnt got it togeather these days due to the way i made it i guess and where the neck meets the body has cracked and needs repair before i can use it again.

i was happy with the tone of the guitar just the way i had imagined it when i chose the wood........been getting some tools togeather and want to make a few more guitars....will go shopping on ebay i recon to find some pre loved interesing necks.

i dont want to alarm anyone but while writting this post a small mouse ran across my living room floor....and i cant find a mouse trap...wish my cat hadn't have gone missing a couple years back...or i atleasted replaced him....after he cought the mouse we could have a laugh about it all and jammed sum ! .HH. =]-~

Strain I'd really like to know what you have in your studio!

My buddy has a home studio hes got
A Triton Digital Rack
MBox with ProTools latest edition
MIDI Controller with MBox output
A Korg Analog Synth
A Yamaha Motif Series keyboard
Roland V-Drums full rack mounted
Several high quality microphones (don't know their models or anything)
He runs it on a Powerbook and a tower computer with unknown specs (I dont know them hahaha)
His speakers are Rockit 5's I believe, they're pretty loud.

If anyone has a home studio let me know what kind of equipment you're rockin!

Peace love and pot

Haven't heard it, but I know this company and their rep, and I know this would sound amazing. Of course, I'd demo before buying anything.

I'd imagine it would make you soil your drawers, it's so good.

Under a grand is pretty good for a boutique piece like that. You could always put some tape on it and write "Marshall" on it if that makes you feel better....

im a bass player myself :), been playing for about 8-10 years now. I have downsized now to only having my first bass (older p-bass) and an ibanez acoustic(unbelievable tone and feel). I run the acoustic through a 1952 Electrovibe 1x12tremolo and it just sounds beautiful. the p-bass gets a fender pre-amp then a peavey CS3000 driving 2 4x10 cabs(extremely low WAF lol)

keyboards for many years, formal lessons, picked up guitar on my own years ago. playin strictly for my own enjoyment or jammin with friends, usually playin for the four walls :rasta: . 76 les paul custom, tobacco sunburst; love the fat sound but lookin to get it at a lower volume, crank it and my ears start to short out :yoinks: would love 88 keys with lots of polyphony and a top notch acoustic sound.
