Advice, tips or tricks for building and running a sealed room needed.

So far so good. Can keep it real cold with the 4 Gavita's. Granted it's not summer here yet but it's barely working right now.
I can say I'd buy another no doubt about it.
Room is up and running so I'll probably be starting a grow thread with the new room soon.

Okay, getting close to calling it a room so I should finish up this thread proper like.
Going try to keep it stealth with my AC compressor mounted inside the barn.
So far it has been working fine. Hasn't got over 95 in the barn although I'm sure that is going to change. Temps have only got up to upper 70's outside and they will get to 90 this summer. This is pretty good news though cause not only do I have the mini split mounted inside I also stuck a 6000 btu window banger thru the wall to the veg room.
So with two hot AC's blowing, to only have hit 95 I'm feeling pretty good.
So, to deal with summer I went ahead and got this exhaust fan. 4000 cfm.
So this will be mounted up in the gable of the barn and I will need to cut an intake equal to 4 cf. I will do this right behind the Breeze unit.
If you look at the first pic of the compressor, I will cut out a 40"x14" section of metal and screen it in so critters can't get in. This should provide a nice draft over the cooling fins on the back of the unit.
Hopefully with this setup I can keep the temps pretty close to ambient. I should only have to run the exhaust fan around five months of the year and will probably hook it to a thermostat.

What is the inverted trap for? I hope thats not your drain. If it's the freon tubing that is okay. And if yor fan didn't come with a t-stat I can guide you on setting 1 up. All that is needed is 24 volt transformer, set of a/c unit contacts and a little wire.

Yeah that is the condensate line. I was trying to pull it out of the line set. After I noticed water running down the wall in my flower room I got it fixed haha.
Could have done that better for sure by separating the condensate line from the rest of the line set before I screwed the brackets but I got it settled right after I fired it up. It now drains into a bucket. I get about 5 gallons a day of free 0 ppm water.
May be interested in hearing about this t-stat.
Depending on the set up inside your power head you may need a trap in your drain line but it would be down like under a sink. I have found some that will not drain until they shut down because the fan is sucking the water up. In that case you have to make a trap so there is no sucking in the drain line. It's also a good thing to have a inverted trap in your larger freon line so the oil has a place to set and boil off instead of settling up in a pool just before the compressor. That will cause compressor failure over time.
What's the ph of that zero water? Never tested it and now you have my attention. I run condensate drains into flower beds all the time. Never had anyone blame me for a dead pansy

This 1 may be more what you need. The way I was thinking would only be cost effective if you already had everything like me. This 1 is cheap enough or you may can find 1 cheaper. If you can wire a switch or receptacle you will have no problem with a t-stat for your fan.

nice build out! 4000cfm is probably overkill, my buddy has 3x 5ton condensers inside a room with an 1800cfm in a HOT area and it works perfectly.
The "trap" wasn't there until I opened the plastic sheathing and tried to pull the condensate out.

Like my bike, it's a three speed.
I also doubt it is a "true" 4000. I was going to get a 16" but the 20" was more efficient. Only uses 1.6 amps for 4250 cfm or 1.2 amps for 3300 cfm or 1.0 amp for 2150.

Haven't started a new thread for my new grow but I probably will before too long. I got some plants in already, they took a pretty good hit with some off gassing at first but have all snapped out of it.
Just a kind of trial run to get any bugs or issues worked out before I try for a production run.

Is that amp load 110 or 220 volt ? The reason I ask is some of those motors can go ether way.

Thanks for your help along the way. I'm glad I took your advice and kept the two rooms separate with two AC's.
Sure the window banger is not ideal but it will have to do, at least for a little while.
Just says 110, nothing about 220.

First thread in QUITE some time I've actually read all the way through... i was supposed to be sleep hours ago....but NNOOOOOOO, I had to stumble across this gem.. lots of good info in here.. I'm building a flip flip room very shortly, and will need to rig up a window banger to cool 2 flower rooms, via sealed-"ish"... it may actually be sealed if i get it set up the right was...or should I say, if it works the way it does in my head lol!
I bkmarked that Breeze... may be my next buy... $1700 is a small price to pay for what it'll give you in the next turn around...
