when sealed rooms are involved, bigger is always better. a bigger a/c then neeeded, a bigger dehu then needed, a bigger co2 burner then needed. i find it better to have down time with all the compenenst vs excesive running while lights are on, you know?

Check, check and check. Thanks for poppin in med man.

Got some more work done today. Ran 20 amp/120 circuits to each room for accessories. Ran a 20 amp/240 to the veg for a couple 600's.

Redid the lighting controller. Didn't like it on the wall so it went up on the ceiling.

okay now ive asked this in other threads lately and havent gotten much feedback so im gonna throw it out here, are guys venting there sealed roms at night? im having issues with lights off co2 raising up to 1900ppm and am now in the middle of rigging up a vent.

Sealed rooms have been around for many years, there are no vents to the outside ever otherwise it is not a sealed room.

In over two years of running sealed I have noticed no detrimental effects from high co2 levels during lights off. There is a thread on it somewhere with people claiming all kinds of terrible disaster if you allow co2 to build up in the dark, checkout my albums and see for yourselves.......

i totally agree moses.

i also totally agree there is nothing detrimental about sucking air in and out while the lights are off. even for 5 minutes and hour, especially with denser bud plants that are prone to boistris

Hello friend, your dehuey should take care of that. One of the biggest problems with a sealed room is the moment lights go out... It is very important you have the correct size dehuey with adequate coverage (you may need more than one positioned strategically around the room).

As I said before a sealed room never has vents to the outside ever. Of course there are people who choose to do this for various reasons, but then you can't call it sealed!

I dont vent ever, and though co2 levels will rise during lights out its never affected my grow.If you have a co2 generator with a pilot light, thats where most of the excess comes from

there are a lot of factors beside transpiration at night for co2. anything rotting or decaying like roots, leaves etc will contribute

just saying

Well dehumidifier shopping is where I'm at with this room. Got some plants thrown in and night humidity hits 85-90%. That's with no dehu, I threw in my little dude last night to see how much it helps but ya, I am looking to find something that will keep up.

I see a used Phoenix 200 HT for $1200. Seems like a good deal but it has 6000 hours on it and I don't know the life expectancy on these things.
