Your plant wants 300 ppm or less. It is doing everything it can to store the excess in the bottom leaf.

Do you have a brix meter? A sap pH meter? The K reading by itself is only an indicator but I bet you bottom brix and pH are both higher than top. Balance first, push next

Vansil-Well fuck I guess I'll just crank up the Albion. Ya I spray tainio, about out of pepzyme though

PP-The K is available and the Ca isn't. That's why the numbers are so much higher on bottom. I'd spray Ca and add gypsum to the soil...more focus on the spray though.

most of the reszearch tht i have seen shows very little if any actual plant uptake of silicon via foliar, no matter the source material.

Speculating again without at least seeing PPs plant. But generally when I see top leaf is as low as 300 ppm the plant is taking up plenty of Ca. That is what allows the K to be so low.

If the plant builds itself with enough Ca it just does not need much K at all. It is when you don't have Ca when you see high K numbers in the top leaf...the plant is building itself with K in place of Ca.

I am seeing K numbers as low as 100 ppm in top leaf coming out of veg. I am telling you it is shocking how little K you actually need at that point.

I did top dress of gypsum at 5 cups per 300 and 4 on the 200 gallon mound. I'm hoping that it'll keep the stretch low when it comes on. Some of rhe solution grade kind still chills in the mulch layer.

Still spraying Ca, P, B Zn. N is still pretty high cuz I mulch each one with one bag of supRgreen.

I really wish I would have been on time planting. My fert plan would have been a lot more on time

My buddy down in town used pacific gro at 1/2 cup a gallon fertigation and his shit is on rails eight now. Not the dark green you might expect.

On a side note my employee over rotated a front flip on a 50 cliff jump into water. Chilled in ICU for a bit. Gonna be ok eventually. The work load was planned for 2 guys. This is getting intense

This is what I tell people when the preach about spraying potassium silicate. They should just be drenching it, but most people have way too much K that its a mistake. Coots bro science rols crowd.

REPPIN,

Wrong conclusion pal! Try phosphorus instead!

The question is how fast is that plant metabolizing. I would like to see it and a ca sap reading before I called P

Forgot my brix meter. Had to do a different plant-- the previous one didnt have any fully developed fans at the top, only in the middle. New plant had same yellowing. Still low K at top. Internrt too slow to upload photos right now.

This dirt had a lottt of gyp. I dont have a test but i did irrigate a lot befre planting.

Bottom
800? 420? K (kept moving down)
320 ca
7.5 pH

2nd bottom (yellowing leaf)
280 k
210 ca
7.3 ph
3700 n

Top
150 k
61 ca
7.1 pH

2nd top
160 K
75 Ca
7 ph
2200 N

I personally don't understand A lot of things. Like some dudes out there like other dudes lol

What do you guys think about mammoth P? And why don't they have a mammoth Ca yet?

Don't know Mammoth P...

My crystal ball is broke on the other questions...

My crystal ball says underfed, water only part of it, microbes probably part of it. A good biotic fertilizer would do wonders.
